Two weeks passed. There was no news of Damien.

Lucas had now accepted that maybe he is not going to be back. Everyday was the same nowadays. Wake up- School- Cat- Home- Sleep.

At first Lucas wanted answers. Then it became concern whether Damien Was okay. Now he just didn't know. What was he feeling? Anger ? Sadness ? Concern? He had now pushed everything to the back of his mind. However he would fleet his gaze over the class whenever he entered. Maybe he is there today. And soon he would realize Damien isn't there and then he would go sit at his desk, and move through the day.

But today, when his gaze fleeted across the room, they rested upon Damien. He was sitting on his desk speaking with Michael. His back was turned against the door and as soon as Lucas' eye laid on him, he turned. Michael might have informed Damien. Damien turned and grinned. Michael smirked behind.

Lucas pursed his lips trying not to show all the emotions that was rushing from the back of his mind now. He tried his best to maintain his poker face. He strutted his way to his seat and stared straight towards the front of the class.

Lucas could feel Damien's Stare from the corner of his eye. Luckily for him, the teacher walked in and the class started. All through the lecture, Lucas could feel Damien's gaze at him.

Damien made no attempt to reach out to him during breaks. Rather, Lucas never looked up from the books . He focused on whatever book he had in front of him till the next lecture started.

Soon, class ended. It was time to leave . Half the kids in the class had made their way out as if waiting for the moment the bell rang. Lucas on the other hand started packing his bags , half -hoping Damien would walk up to him.

And sure , Damien did.

"Hi" He said in his gentle but firm voice.

"Hi", Lucas replied. He kept focusing on his bag, fumbling with the books inside his bag, making space for another book.

"Look up." Again the firm voice ordered.

Lucas still kept his head down.

"Lucas.." The voice was clearly an order.

Lucas looked up. He sighed. "What ?"

"I am sorry ."

"For what?"

"For leaving you that day."

Lucas sighed again. He pursed his lips and got up from his seat.

"What's there to talk about ? It's fine."

Lucas made his way out the door and slowly started to make his way to the back alley.

The cat was nowhere to be found. He couldn't risk standing here. He poured the cat food on to the bowl and turned to leave. All the while Damien had fiollowed him.

As Lucas walked towards his house, Damien followed him .He did not say a single word. Lucas knew that if he even so much as spoke a word to Damien, it will be ugly. And they couldn't so that in the street. Damien knew too.

As Lucas walked to his front door, Damien grabbed Lucas' wrist.

Lucas turned shock. He looked at Damien's hand on his wrist and then at Damien.

"Give me a chance to explain." Damien's eyes looked at him pleadingly.

Lucas felt his heart wring. Again the emotions in his mind pushed to the front.

He could feel the emotions overwhelm him. Before things got out of control, he managed to spurt a few words out.

"Come in."
