Husband is Being Bullied

It was a long driveway toward the big mansion. Their family owns hectares for a big manor with a maze garden pond that has the size of an Olympic pool at each side. On the driveway, there are few cars lined up. Expensive cars and so shiny. BMW, Porsche, Mustang… It felt like he already had seen this part. But in a different mansion.

They came closer to the main house and a valet approached them. He took her purse and opened the car. The valet opens up the driver seat for her and he waits for her.

She's wearing a beautiful peach dress that compliments her body. She's too conservative that's why it has a lace fabric from her chest to her arms and wrists. She looked beautiful and girly. Now, he can't just take his eyes off her. He reached her hand and brought it to the crook of his arm as he held her purse for her. There are indeed pretty girls but it's because of the clothes that they wear. Then, hours to fix their makeup in the mirror. His wife just spent thirty minutes in the mirror. With drying her hair, putting cream on her face, and a little make-up.

Some women are flaunting their new necklaces and engagement rings. He always saw such things and they aren't as beautiful as his wife.

"Oh, weren't you the construction boy in Jason's family building?" The familiar woman said. She's wearing a crimson tight dress that compliments her body shape. Too daring yet a little elegant. She might've also had hours to fix those make-up with a professional stylist and to have her hair perfectly curled and shiny. He stared at her for a while and was about to speak.

"Oh, weren't you the sister that slept with my ex-fiance while we were engaged?" Victoria smirked. Katarina Joan scoffed.

"Sister, you were the one who cheated on him. You go out with this trash."

"He's not trash and I married him on the same day that you and Jason were ramming at each other's body."

Everyone couldn't believe it.

"Don't worry, I won't tell," Joan smirked.

Kenzo held her back. He just wished that he'd do something to make their world upside down.

"Won't tell what? That you've been seeing him while we are engaged? It's a good thing that I didn't sleep with him."

"Victoria," Jason approached them wearing an expensive tailored tuxedo and he fixed his tie. He looked sharp and handsome and rich. "Why did you leave early? I was worried about you."

"Worried? Worried that I marry someone else after what you've done?" She smirked at him. Jason looked at Kenzo, scanning him from head to toe. He scoffed.

"You married someone that I fired from the construction site."

Victoria held on to his arm tightly and he gently held her hand to calm her.

"Let's greet your grandmother." He said softly. She nodded and they walked past them.

"So, you are paying your loverboy now?" Jason smirked. Kenzo exhaled slowly as he faced him.

"Don't you ever insult my wife in front of me, or you'll pay for consequences." He threatened. Momentarily, Jason was surprised but he chuckled to mock him.

"What could you possibly do? Construction boy?"

Victoria pulled Kenzo. She wanted to leave the place right away. So, they went to the great room to greet her grandmother. Victoria smiled and hugged her grandmother. Kenzo greeted her by kissing the old woman's hand.

"Uhm, grandma. We can't stay long."

"Oh, why not?" She asked. Victoria gave the paper bag to her grandmother. "Kenzo made your favorite. Although, we know that you have great food here."

"Darling, they don't serve tacos here." The old woman said that makes Victoria and Kenzo laugh. "So, won't you greet your parents?"

Victoria turned to her father who looked angry and her mother was acting worried and angry at the same time. She was afraid of her father but she didn't want to do things that he would say. Like, marry this guy, seduce this guy. She approached them.

"Mother, Father," She called in a very formal way. "This is Kenzo, my husband. I married him on the same day that I broke up with Jason."

"Kenzo," His father, Bailey Parson called. "From which family are you."

"I have no family before Victoria."

He scoffed.

"Then, you are not welcome to be here," Bailey grumbled.

"I invited the young man, Bailey. Be nice." Baroness Regina Parson said strictly.

"Mother, she married a broke man that can't even feed her." Bailey reasoned.

Victoria felt hurt as Kenzo looked away. She was hurt for Kenzo. Victoria exhaled.

"I rather marry someone poor as a beggar rather than a nymphomaniac that screws every woman in front of him. Even my sister." Victoria spoke and that made them shut up. Even their relatives at both sides gasped in amusement. "I rather marry someone faithful than someone who always cheats and only cares about, money and sex. I don't want to be another doll of this family and to be sold off." She gritted at them. She unclenched her jaw and turned her head slightly to her grandmother. "I'm sorry, grandma. But we are leaving."

"Victoria!" Her father hissed to stop her but she's stubborn.

She raised her chin and pulled Kenzo gently. They walked out of the mansion toward their car as the valet gave them the key. She thanked him. At least the valets are more human than a few people inside.

"Let me drive for you," Kenzo said as he opened the door for her. She slid in and put her seatbelt on. Then, he gave her purse back. He walked around the driver's seat.

Once they were outside the subdivision, Kenzo stopped the car on the corner. She wept silently and she thought that he would ignore her which she wanted. But deep inside, she wanted to be coaxed and to be hugged. Kenzo removed her seatbelt and he gently pulled her to him. He wiped her tears.

"Hey, don't cry…" He said softly. "I just need to drive away from there." He pulled her. She crawled over his lap and hugged him tightly. "It's alright." He kissed her forehead.

"I'm~~sorry…" She told him as she started sobbing. It's a good thing that he stocks water in her car and tissue. He took the tissue and wiped her tears. "I'm sorry…" She said again and again.

"Hey, don't mind it." He kissed her forehead. "I'm fine and it's just words… and I will be the greatest husband you'll ever have. I promise you."

She continued crying and he waited until she calmed down. Never he thought that his heart breaks seeing her like this. She went back to her seat and drank bottled water. She removed her makeup and he drove back to the city.

"It's such a waste that we have to leave early." He said. "Let's go somewhere. How about a park?"

"Great." She smiled.

"Don't cry again, okay?" He patted her head. She sniffled and smiled at him. "I'll start my job by tomorrow. I already sent my files to Caleb."

"Speaking of work. Instead of going to the park, why won't we visit my best friend Stacey? It's Sunday and we usually have a food trip after a day of work out. I didn't get to work out because of this crazy party."

"Sure." He smiled at her and caressed her hair lovingly.

She told him the address and he noticed a car following them. He noticed the car that stopped in front of her house the other night. He drove fast and made a few ways and she creased her brows.

"It's not the way."

"I know." He smiled at her.

"What's wrong?"

"I will handle it." He promised her.

"I need to know what's going on."

"We are being followed." He said. She gritted her teeth.

"Probably Jason's minions." She crossed her arms.

"Trust me, okay?"

"I trust you." She smiled at him sweetly. "I don't want to flirt with you here in the car but I just couldn't help it." She exhaled.
