CHAPTER 01.3. DAISY. ["The Brutal Love"]

Asha, a co-worker at the shelter, is one vibrant, full of life and highly expressive girl, throwing her hands arounds and her talking volume is always on the higher side. While her lively nature can be overwhelming for some people, I'm at ease and very comfortable around her. She's become that close friend I never had, and for that I'm truly thankful.

I can't help but chuckle and say, "I'm thrilled for you, Asha. You're not just the sweetest girl I've known; you're also incredibly supportive and kind. Your positive energy makes a real difference, and I'm sure you deserve all the happiness coming your way, and much more. Here's to many endless great moments together!"

I continue to say, "hey, you know I'm an early sleeper and this was the reason, I wasn't able to join you to so many late night parties. Please don't worry at all darling. I'll be there on time, fully charged and ready to enjoy the whole event with you."

One Week Later.

I've never been to an event kicking off so early in the morning. It's a welcome distraction to stop  me from dwelling on the past. The event is at Plaza Hotel, just a fifteen-twenty minutes walk from my house.

As Asha had mentioned that I should pack light, so I've got a few undies, a nightgown, a  jeans with couple of tops in a small duffel bag. I really want to enjoy the whole event, so I'm making sure to be there on time.

As I step into the Plaza Hotel lobby, my eyes are immediately captivated by a large banner featuring Asha's photo and the event title "Involution."



01. Involution

As I'm looking at the banner and thinking as how beautiful and confident Asha is looking in the banner, a young girl in her early twenties approaches me with a friendly smile, saying, "Good morning, ma'am. Welcome to Involution. I'm Stacey, your personal assistant for the entire event. Please allow me to guide you to the event that is currently in progress."

Glancing around the event area, I notice Asha and only 3 more girls, prompting me to whisper, "It appears I have arrived a bit too early."

After sharing good wishes with Asha, the bride-to-be, I realize Asha has chosen me out of the rest of the fourteen girls, to be with her, and be a part of this "Special Time" segment of the event to spend quality time with her.

For this special time segment, Asha has worn a white gown and I change into a light pink gown given to me by Stacey. We sing, dance to the romantic music been played, sip wine and do a photo and video shoot.

After we both change our dress, the camera crew captures "Breakfast Photoshoot" while we're having lovely breakfast together, after the special time segment.

01.2. Breakfast Photoshoot

Shortly after, it's "Beach Time" segment and the rest of the ten girls joins us at the Plaza Hotel's exclusive beach section. There, we embarked on a day filled with fun and laughter. We splashed around in the refreshing waters, engaged in exhilarating beach volleyball matches, and some of us even attempted to fly a kite, gracefully guiding it through the sky. Others chose to engage in lively frisbee games, their laughter echoing across the beach.

We all change into various swimsuits provided by our personal assistants and hair and makeup crew work their magic with each change of our attire. We strike poses for the camera against the backdrop of the stunning ocean view.
