Chapter Fifty Two: You Scared Me

When Jackia and the other maidens left, I knew it was definitely my time off, and I couldn't possibly think of anything else but to relax.
But it was already getting late, and she wasn't back yet. What must be going on, as I saw the rest of the maidens walk in? Even though I do not know what must have transpired out there. It was the norm for them.
Sometimes Jackia always returns late, but at that rate I am beginning to get scared, something might happen to her if I am not there.
I had to go meet one of the maidens to ask, Excuse me, ma'am, did you by any chance know if Miss Jackia is on her way back to the palace?" The maiden looked at me and said
"I do not know anything about Jackia; do I look like her?".
