Chapter 9 Lifelong Mate
Elena's POV
As soon as I appeared in front of Luke, I could feel the heat of his gaze as his eyes travelled he full length of my body.
"I can feel how excited he is Elena!" my wolf giggled giddily.
"I can feel how excited you are as well, Chloe," I replied dryly.
I reached up and tried to smooth my hair out, trying to make our first meeting feel a little more relaxed in such a formal setting.
I lifted the skirt of my dress to curtsey, as was expected when visiting another pack, but he took hold of my arm to stop me with a gentle smile. I watched him quietly as he pulled a chair out for me and gestured for me to sit.
"You don't have to salute or curtsey or bow to me, my mate," he murmured as I sat and he pushed my chair in towards the table.
"Oh... okay. Thank you."
"By the way, this dress looks stunning on you. It really suits you."
