Elena's POV
My mind was already in turmoil and before I could stop it, the words were already out of my mouth. "Enough! Luke! You think I'm useless, right?"
His eyes seemed to widen in shock as he stared at me with an expression of dismay, and then he explained as quickly as he could while gripping my hand tightly. "Of course not, Elena! I would never think that! It's just that something happened suddenly, and you were so tired yesterday. I just wanted you to rest a little longer..."
"Enough!" My roar startled not only him, but also myself.
I didn't even know why I was so angry, and I couldn't even control myself. I was afraid that if I continued to stay here, that I would inadvertently hurt Luke, so I quickly withdrew my hand and turned to walk out.
