CHAPTER 46 True Mate
Elena's POV
When I followed Luke back to the Embermoon Pack, he took my hand and almost ran into the palace and headed straight for his room.
"Luke, slow down, what are you doing in such a hurry?" I pinched his fingers.
"You know that there are important things to do, you promised me," Luke said as he turned to raise an eyebrow at me, squinting at my neck exposed outside the gown.
My face burned all of a sudden, and I clearly remembered that I had promised him that after satisfactorily solving Raine's affairs, I would finally accept us as true mates, and that meant marking me as his.
How am I feeling right now? I don't know, maybe a little nervous, but I seemed to be more excited about the prospect of actually being able to be a committed partner with Luke.
