The Fight

With All might confirming the beginning of the fight, I stood and just watched Ectoplasm open his mouth to see a dark substance boiling up from the back of his throat, which in the next moments, came rushing out from his mouth.

Observing the liquid spreading along the ground, Ectoplasm kept spewing out the bizarre substance, which slowly caused my face to grow into me and more disgust as I watched him continue his act with each passing second.

Although as I watched him do that, the liquid began to move along the ground, which piqued my interest and within the next few moments, I watched as it began to coalesce. Gradually creating a blob that grew out arms on the side, as well as legs growing out the bottom.

Till it made an exact replica of him, I managed to catch it staring at me as Ectoplasm kept spewing out more of the stuff, as I wanted to check something. Activating my x-ray, as I focused on the duplicate, only to see nothing that really surprised me.

The only noticeable part about viewing the inside of his clone was that it reminded me of an insect, where his clone had a tough outer layer of skin and a soft liquid seen to flow throughout the inside of the shell, coupled with not finding anything that resembled organs, muscle or bones.

Deactivating my x-ray ability, I waited as I stared down Ectoplasm's real body, making sure that his fakes didn't move without me noticing. Some were flanking, whilst others walked towards me, slowly, closing in on my available space, but I stood tall, with an unwavering expression.

Fortunately for me, the clones not even being living things meant I could go all out without worrying about being discriminated against for killing someone.

One of the clones got close enough for it to try and test me by throwing a punch into one of any normal person's blind spots, but thanks to the heightened sense, I was warned about it in advance.

Simply moving my head to the side, letting the fist swing past whilst I twisted, balling my hand into a fist and throwing it at his stomach. I couldn't help but feel satisfied as I felt the crunch of the shell as my fist connected, sending him flying off the stand and into the wall on the far side of the hall.

Everyone watched on with different degrees of astonishment written on their faces, after seeing that display of raw power, and in looking at where the clone smacked against the wall, they could only see a puddle of sludge and a cracked wall.

After that display, I visibly noticed a change in all the clones as they seemed to be forming new strategies as they now started to come at me in pairs, which just made it easier for me.

One came rushing at me to perform a swift roundhouse kick that was easily spotted as aiming for my head, whilst the other clone went for quite the cowardly act of trying to break my balance by kicking at my leg.

With a distinct snort coming out as I merely stood there not worrying about the one gaming at my leg, but focused on the kick aimed at my face to effortlessly grab it, and with one fluid motion swung the body attached to the leg at the clone that desired to break my balance.

Smacking them both together brought back memories of my warmongering days as I watched them both fly off the stage to bend into strange angles once they hit the ground.

A couple of heroes on the sideline found my approach odd, and tactless, but I wasn't too concerned for their odd facial expressions, in fact, I was curious about something, so as the next clone came to attack I grabbed it by the shoulder and formed my hand into a spear.

When the fist of the clone passed by my ear, I drove my hand deep into the chest of the clone to notice the outer shell burst to see that only the sludge was left that then fell to the ground like popping a balloon filled with water.

I soon began to make quick work of his clone with good, hard punches that sent the barrelling off the stage, and with some others, I would spartan kick them in the balls to see if Ectoplasm himself felt any of his clone's pain.

However, as time went on I began to get bored after fighting so many without the satisfying crunch I normally get hitting bone dead on. Hearing the crack of a hard punch right onto a person's, brittle bones did give me most of the enjoyment throughout a fight.

Alas, I think it would be best for me to end this fight quickly before I do something I could regret this early on in my plans. Brushing past, most of the clones, I came up to Ectoplasm, who was still spewing his guts out.

Seeing his eyes open in shock, I swiftly clasped his jaw with my hand, lifting him from the floor as I stared into his eyes and asked "Do admit defeat?" and before I waited for his reply, I slowly applied pressure onto his jaw incentivising him to hurry up.

Ectoplasm, didn't reply, but instead just gave me a cold, stubborn glare, to which I merely sighed in response to and as he thought he still had a chance he launched a kick towards the side of my body which I smoothly caught giving him a look like he was an idiot.

To which another kick was launched from the other leg and as I let go of his jaw to grab it, he fell and smacked his head against the floor. Now with both legs in my grasp, I simply spartan kicked him off the stand as a way of relieving my boredom.

With that concluding the end of the fight, I stepped down off the stage to head towards my clothes to get myself dressed up when Nezu stepped up to me "You will be a welcomed addition to the school Dylan" I finished putting on my trousers then looked towards him.

"Thank you principle" once I was finished getting changed, Nezu just told me to head back to class, to which I agreed and left the training hall seeing Cementoss putting away the platform. Whilst I was walking down the corridor, I wasn't stupid enough to think that was the end of their conversation, so I listened in.

Some of the observers were proud that I was able to handle so many of Ectoplasmes clones with swiftness and calmness, but however, someone like Nezu thought of this as a problem and said to the group "We need to show him the right path"

When the heroes heard that, they unanimously agreed to the statement and Nezu continued, "Seeing the way he fights shows me that he relies on his quirk more than his mind, which could lead to him being arrogant in the future"

However, that's when All might spoke up "But Nezu, he clearly has good battle sense judging by the way he was able to dodge Ectoplasm's punches when they came from his blind spots"

Nezu couldn't help but nod his head in agreement, but soon said back "However, as you saw, he didn't need to bother with battle sense later on in the fight and I could visibly see him get bored of the fight"

That's when Midnight asked, "So Nezu or All might, how might you be able to get him to listen or get him onto the right path?" as she looked between the both of them expecting some kind of answer.

All might spoke up first with his bright smile, "Battle training will be coming up, and I will see how he controls his quirk throughout the test and see whether he can be taught anything" as he got up from his seat looking at midnight hoping that was a good enough answer.

With All might finishing off "I got to be going Nezu tell me what you come up with later" as little streams of smoke started rising from his cheek. Luckily for me was when I reached the classroom door and stopped listening in on their conversation.
