The arm holding Anabella against the firm body tightened its hold for just a second before it let Anabella go.
But breathing suddenly became tougher for the omega as panic filled her mind. She wanted to speak, but her voice could not leave her throat.
"Noah, give Anabella some space. You are smothering her with your presence. Do you want to annoy her more than you already have?"
Clair's voice was calm and quiet, but it was also filled with concern. She noticed that the omega had not turned to look her way or even indicated that she had heard what had happened.
Usually, the person behind the talk would have turned to face the alpha pair already, but Anabella was acting differently.
