Chapter 9
“Jax,” Jax corrected again. “No one calls me Jaxford.”
“You should stay for waffles and blueberry syrup, and I can learn your name.”
Jax shook his head while dressing. He slipped into his jeans, shirt, socks, and shoes. “I really have to go. There’s a boyfriend I have to break up with.”
“Do you have more than one boyfriend?”
Jax laughed. “I don’t, but it sounds like it, doesn’t it?”
“Sort of.” Gary slipped into a pair of white boxer-briefs that were laying on the floor, next to the bed. “I’ve had two boyfriends at one time. That didn’t work out for me. Nor did it work out for the boyfriends, either.”
Funny guy, Jax thought. I like his humor. Once he was fully dressed, he looked at Gary and said, “I should go.”
“Sure. No problem. I understand.”
