Something Like Family

"It's kill or be killed and I don't plan on dying until I've killed my captors." The Chained Man said a toothy grin as he wrapped his chain connecting his hands around a man's throat and pulled. "My actions are just." the man said as he got up laughing. The man took his captors blade and cut the knot holding his dreads in a ponytail "Ah much better," he said as he shook his head allowing his dreads to hide his jet black eyes with bags. The Man Wandered throughout the woods Periodically Blacking out each time longer than the previous until he collapsed and awoke to himself being carried by a Boy accompanied by a Young Girl  "He's Awake Yujiro." The girl yelled.

  "Oh, it seems he is." The young man responded As he kneeled, letting the dread-headed man down. Yujiro Grabbed something out of a Sack. The Man looked Expecting the Worst he jumped in a battle stance. "Iv ran away before I'll take the lashing like the previous Times." The Man Shocked to see the Container of water being extended to him Grabbed it and gulped it down. Yujiro Confused Asks "What do you mean by lashes?" The Dread-headed man turned around and lifted his tunic to reveal his back which had a multitude of Scars that were cruel "Oh My goodness!" The Young Girl screamed as she turned her head.  "Who did this to you? Come on, I have herbs at our cottage." He said as he grabbed the man and began to Progress towards a small cottage. As They approached the Cottage Yujiro yelled towards his sister "Miko Get the herbs and a towel!" As she ran towards the cupboard.

As the Dread-headed Man came to he looked around frantically. The Man attempted to get up But his wounds Prevented him from doing so. "You shouldn't be moving like that you may worsen your wound turn over so I can see it." The Man Did not compile. "Turnover I need to check your wound!" Miko Said with a level of irritants. As the man turned over Miko got a better look at his wounds "Yujiro can you hand me the wrap, please!" She shouted "Heads up" Yujiro shouted back as he tossed her the wrap. "Ok, can you sit up for me I gotta rewrap your wound or it might become infected?" The Man Complied Sitting up allowing Miko to warp his wound. "Ahh Damn Be careful that shit hurts!" the man screamed in anguish "Shut up she's doing her best," Yujiro Replied as he handed the man a bowl of rice. "Eat!" Yujiro demanded of the man as he wandered into the room over. "He doesn't have to be so stern about it!". Yujiro walked back into the room "If your gonna be here after you recover I have rules." Yujiro said as he looked at the Man.

"What's your name?" The man looked at Yujiro ``I don't have one." Miko Chimed in "how about Nabu it's a cute name," she said as she looked at the man and became flustered. Yujiro looked at the man "You will go by Nabu from now own how's that sound and if your gonna stay with us we're gonna need you to help out around here." Miko came running back into the room with a pick in hand "Nabu Give me your wrists." Nabu extended his arms as Miko began to Pick at his shackles.``You're finally gonna have these off!" Miko said as she Jiggled the pick The Shackle made a click sound and fell off of Nabu's hand "Ok next one Nabu."   Nabu moved his hands freely without the weight of the chain bearing down on them. Yujiro Motioned Towards the bathhouse "Take Nabu there and let him clean himself. I have a gown he should be able to fit." As Nabu stepped out of the bathhouse and grabbed the Gown Miko had just set it down. Nabu attempted to rush back into the shower and close the door but It wouldn't close no matter how hard he snatched it. 

Miko who was now blushing at the sight of Nabu sat the gown Down on the log beside them and approached him "Yujiro wants you to go hunting for dinner mind if I accompany you?" she said as she fixed her hair. Nabu Moved his dreads so he could see "It's your choice." Nabu said as he moved back into the bathhouse. "Well, I'm coming with you," Miko said "So that's why you have the bow I'm guessing?" Nabu said as he began to walk with Miko not far behind. "We're hunting Small game so rabbits ground squirrel stuff like that." Nabu nodded and walked off in search of sticks and berries. Miko looked at Nabu as he walked off. she thought to herself "What is he doing?" As Nabu returned he had dead vines thrown over his arms as well as Rocks and Berries. Nabu looked at Miko and began to put his plan in motion as he had made a pulley with a loophole at the end and the other side attached to a sizable rock that he hoisted up into a tree. He handed Miko the berries and instructed her to place them in the opening made by the loophole. She did as told and the two began to wait.

 "Nabu are you sure this is gonna work." Nabu's Ears fluttered "Alright when I say push that Rock over Push you got it?" Nabu said as he jumped through the thicket. Miko sat in the tree Until movement in a bush below caught her eye. Out of the bush burst, Nabu chasing after a Boar "Push it now!" Nabu yelled as he chased the boar. As Miko Pushed the Boulder budged inch by inch until it went over causing the vine to pull and trap the boar's ankle. "Yeah, we did it woohoo!" Miko shouted as she jumped about. As Nabu and Miko headed back to the cottage Miko looked at Nabu and fixed her mouth to ask a question but quickly discarded the thought as they walked. As they walked into the cottage Yujiro looked at the boar. "Nabu clean yourself and help me prepare our meal." As Nabu returned to the kitchen he had gathered some vegetables that Yujiro had asked him for. "Grab a knife out the draw and hand it here." Nabu complied and handed Yujiro the knife. Yujiro Began to run the Potatoes under the water and placed them on the Counter.  Yujiro looked over at Nabu ``I need you to clean the boar and throw it in the oven on low heat, turn up the heat gradually and watch it." Nabu did as he was told. Yujiro soon Came over to the oven With the potatoes and placed them into the oven alongside the boar. "Turn up the heat a little and then we wait ''. Nabu whispered under his breath with a smirk "I guess I see you two as something like family." While they wait let's say we Go and Checkup on the Girl and the Boy.
