Chapter 4 – The Skills Exams

Third person pov

Now running for his life and believing that he was fooled by Kiba, Kichi began searching for the room where his belongings are. Luckily, back at the airport, after passing through security and immigration, he went to a restroom to place two of his swiss army knives into the sleeves of his black and white, long-sleeve, hooded jacket just in case someone would attack him along the way. But, he is not paranoid. Back at this situation, Kichi found an air vent and decided to snake his way through in an attempt to retrieve his belongings, using one of his swiss army knives to unscrew the screws, before going inside and began snaking his way through. Luckily, he can fit through that air vent.

Now snaking through the air vents, Kichi looked at the filters in search for that room. After much searching and finding, he found it and proceeds to break through the filter. After a few failed attempts, he did so, and the filter hit an agent, knocking him unconscious. Kichi then exited the air vent and landed on the floor with action while holding his swiss army knife in his right hand, before looking around for more agents. No one else was there, and Kichi sighed in relief. He then went around the room in search for his belongings. Then, moments later, he found them and decided to put his multi-purpose knife in his pants pocket, before carrying his backpack on his back and his shoulder bag on his shoulder. He then grabbed his roller bag, opened the door, and dashed through the hallway in an attempt to find an exit in order to escape the building.

Along the way, he slashed other agents with his swiss army knives like a ninja, but what he didn't noticed is that those agents are actually robots, not human beings. After 2 minutes of running and traversing, he finally found one and proceeds to open it by pulling it. But, again, the exit door turns out to be a fake and a concrete, painted wall greeted him.

"What the…?" Kichi responded to this in surprised shock. "It's a fake?"

Then, Hayato, who had been watching his movement all along through the security cameras, spoke to him through a speaker, "Wow, that was amazing, Sasaki-san."

Upon hearing that, Kichi looked at the speaker and responded, "Wait, what?"

"Don't worry, those people you slashed," Hayato replied back, "they're just weak robots."

Kichi was shocked to hear that, and he responded, "WHAT?!"

Then, an agent, the same one who got hit by the filter, came to the scene and commented while stroking his head, "Wow, kid, you hit me so hard."

"Wait, you're a human?" Kichi asked back.

"Yes, and that's okay, it's a part of my job," the agent responded back with a smile.

"Okay."

Then, Hayato said to Kichi, "Okay, you had passed the Skills Exam. You can either leave or proceed to the next exam, the Entrance Exam."

To that Kichi folded back his foldable knives, put them into his pants pocket, and began thinking about it.

"If this was the school the letter came from," he hypothesized in his mind, "then I'll take it as the one who sent it."

He then continued thinking, "Then I'll give it a try. It's just school."

He then took off my shoulder bag and backpack and handed them, alongside my roller bag, to the agent, before saying to him, "I'll take the entrance exam then."

"Okay, kid, then Kiba-san is at a white room at the second floor," the agent replied back as he holds his stuff.

With that, Kichi began traversing through the hallways in search for Kiba.
