Untamed Anger

Miles packed his car in the school parking lot, as usual, drawing attention from multiple students who were heading towards the school building. Everyone simply knew Miles's car and they also knew him.

Bella stepped out of the car and she watched as faces of other girls in the parking lot, brightened and dulled as she stepped out closing the door while Miles came to stand by her.

They started off towards the school building when Duke's car zoomed past them and Miles could only smile more. Bella just rolled her eyes, walking faster so as to not get involved in their early morning argument.

" That was so sick of you dude", Duke's voice came as soon as they walked through the school's double doors and into the packed hallway.

He was a tall fair boy with blonde hair and Hazel Green eyes, his muscular frame and his beauty was a great combination.

Bella smiled that heartwarming smile of hers greeting those who knew her and ignoring Duke and Miles who were arguing behind her. If she stopped to talk with someone, they stopped along with her and if she moved, they continued as well.

That was how it went down the hallway till they finally reached her locker and ended there.

" So you are saying because Bella had coffee with me last Saturday noon, you did this?", Duke asked Miles who nodded with his head as if not knowing how childish that sounded.

" And for your information Duke, this is my way of saying, you should have apologized early", Miles said softly as people moved past them trying to get to different places at a particular time.

Duke just shook his head and turned to stare at Bella who was fumbling with the keys of her locker and then it opened up. Her locker was at the top and someone else's at the bottom. It was blue in color and so were the other lockers.

" Miles, babe", a female voice sounded not too far from them causing Duke, Bella and Miles to turn their heads to the direction the voice was coming from.

On sighting that it was Miles's annoying girlfriend Laura Dominique, Bella just grabbed her English textbook as that was her first class for the morning then afterwards started closing her locker but still yet Laura caught up with them.

She was dressed in a sky blue sweater and long white pants, paired with white sneakers. Her blue eyes paired with her blonde hair was a sight to behold but beneath those features, lied a cunning girl.

" Good morning Bella", Laura said with cute innocence and it only made Bella cringe inwardly. She answered unwillingly, sparing few words at the girl who couldn't keep her hands and eyes off Miles while she talked. It was clear, she was showing off her claim on Miles as she did always.

She was one of those girlfriends who couldn't live with the fact that their boyfriend had female friends as besties.

Duke patted Miles on the back harshly and walked away with a smug smile on his face knowing fully well Miles wouldn't be able to do anything since Laura was around.

He disappeared down the hall to another hallway probably headed to his first class. The conversation had now shifted from Bella to Miles and Laura and Bella could no longer stand there so she attempted to leave.

" Oh Bella, are you headed off to English class?", Laura suddenly asked causing Bella to frown but remain silent as she just nodded her head as confirmation. Laura's hands were still wrapped around Miles's neck while he had his right hand wrapped around her waist.

" Could you wait a while so we could go together?", Laura asked and without staring at her, causing Bella to frown. That stupid trick might have worked last week but not this week.

" No", she exclaimed firmly, shocking Laura in the process because the blonde immediately turned to stare at her, her blue eyes raised in a questioning manner.

" No, why No?", she asked gently and Bella just fought the urge to go all bizarre at her. She had the guts to ask that. Just last week, she had done the same thing where Bella had to wait calmly for her to finish up with her stupid conversation with Miles before they both headed to class.

And she clearly knew what Laura was doing all those while, rubbing it in that she owned Miles and no one else did, as in who cared, he was her best friend, more like a brother to her, not her secret love interest.

" It's because you are not totally done with Miles and I'm not going to wait around like a third party forgotten so since you know where the class is, just go yourself", Bella said decisively. She wasn't going to say all she wanted to because Miles was around and she didn't want to hurt him.

" Just let it go Laura, Bella you can head to class", Miles said coming in between, his hands still draped over Laura's waist. She saw the blonde's eyes narrow but only for a minute then returning back to normal, sweet and hidden with deep menace.

Bella just walked towards Miles, kissed him on the cheek as a catch you later kind of kiss, and then walked away but she knew clearly that, that one act was going to set Laura on fire with jealously.

The moment she stepped into the classroom, her grey eyes travelled over to her usual sitting spot and she couldn't help but frown at who she saw, her ex boyfriend Kai, sitting on a chair next to hers with his text book on the desk looking all relaxed.

His emerald green eyes turned to stare at the person who just stepped into the class and his usual warm smile appeared on sighting her. The teacher wasn't in the class yet and all the seats were almost occupied.

This was Senior Year and she wanted to graduate without any disturbance, why was he not letting her go? She looked round the class one more time as every other student present was staring at their book or chatting with each other.

Finally deciding within her, she headed over to her seat and sat down knowing very well his eyes were on her. He had a girlfriend now and they broke up on cheating terms but yet he wouldn't let her be.

She opened up her textbook to act as though she were very busy and didn't want any disturbance because she knew Kai's personality very well and he definitely sat there so he could talk to her.

All of a sudden, he placed a piece of paper which was torn out of a notebook on her desk and she frowned staring at the paper, in it was a drawing of her sitting down in what seemed like a bench in the town's park smiling at no one in particular, but the smile was captured so perfectly, it looked as though it were a perfect framework.

She turned to stare at him with questioning eyes. She knew he had always been a good artist but he had never drawn a picture of her and showed it to her, he always hid them in his drawing room.

Why did he show her one of his drawings now? His green orbs stared back at her calmly as he mouthed the words.. " I'm sorry Bella, I am really sorry", he said and that had her snapping out of her thoughts as her grey orbs fumed with untamed anger.
