A Hard Choice   

"I want you to be me for a while," asked the woman who looked arrogantly at Kirana.

Kirana was surprised and felt that she did not understand the woman's request in front of her. The two stared at each other for a moment, full of questions.

"What do you mean?" "Don't you realize? Look at yourself, you literally look like me. Our facial look has no difference at all," Keysa answered, askingKirana to have a look at the mirror in front.

They both then looked at each other. It's true that they are very similar, like a betel nut cut in half. Kirana also wondered why something like this could happen. Because she knew that she doesn't have a sibling. She was the only child in her family.

"I will be marrying a rich man in a week. But I don't love him at all. I just want the money. So I insist you to replace me in the marriage. What do you think?" asked Keysa.

"No, I will not do that," said Kirana. She will not take the risk of being someone else and deceiving people. That's not Kirana'scharacter, so she firmly refusedKeysa's offer.

"I don't like being rejected. So think about it carefully. Don't let me do something cruel," Keysa threatened.

Kirana felt afraid of the threat. She actually knew who she really is. From her appearance, she knew that Keysa was the daughter of a rich family who could do anything to bring her down.

However, she remained stand in her stance. She wouldn't do anythingthat asked by Keysa. In his thoughts, it is a crime. Cause if she got caught, then she must be ready to be put in jail.

"I don't care, let me go," Kirana pleaded. She tried to get away from Keysa quickly. However, Keysa's hand caught Kirana's hand first, Kirana stopped forcefully.

"Remember, no one can refuse my commands. You will never escape from me," Keysa threatened again.

"Sorry, I don't care. Let me go, "said Kirana who tried to let go her hand from Keysa's grip.

"Okay, I'll let you go. I will wiat your decision within twenty-four hours. I'll meet you here again," said Keysa, with a threatening tone. "Oh yeah, I'll give you whatever you ask for if you're willing to," she continued.

Kirana ignored the words that Keysa had just said. She chose to walk away from her.

Kiranafeelt incredibly scared. But she tried to be calm in front of her co-workers. At the same moment, Samuel was chilling in his little bar.

"Why so wrinkled, upset?" guessed Samuel.

"Yes, Sam. My grandmother has to have surgery. Where should I borrow? Boss is not visible, I don't want to," replied Kirana.

"Got any other option? Money lender?"

"Nope, it won't be happen"

Kiranasuddenly thought about Keysa's last offer for a moment. She tried to think about the offer, because she had no other choice now but to be Keysa. Even though she knew the risk that probably would be put in prison.

"I really wish you will get a loan, Ana."

"Thanks, Sam."

"Sorry, I can't help."

"Chill out."

Sometime later, she had finished work. She rushed to change her clothes. She went to the hospital again to see her grandmother. She has not calmed down because she has not received helps and loans. While the doctor has toldher that her grandmother must be treated soon.

Arriving at the hospital, she saw his grandmother who was unconscious. She was quite relieved to see his grandmother now. She sat next to the old woman.

"Grandma, your surgery will be done soon. You will definitely fully recover," said Kirana.

"Surgery? It must be very expensive right? You don't have to do that for me. I'm fine," said Indira.

"Grandma, I am your granddaughter, I have a responsibility to take care of you. You've raised me from childhood to this mature, so how could I let you suffer. No worries, I'll take care of the costs. I want Grandma to get well," Kirana hoped.

Indira could not refuse her granddaughter's wishes. She felt guilty because she had burdened her granddaughter. She knows the surgery costs are very expensive.

The next day, Kirana was still in a dilemma beside her grandmother's bed. Coincidentally, her aunt had already returned, leaving the two of them alone.

"Should I accept that woman's offer?" he muttered, worried.

She was still staring at his grandmother who was sleeping in her bed. She really felt sorry for her grandmother's current state. She knew she was incredibly suffering. Evenshe tried to show her smile in front of her. But she knew that his grandmother was suffering from her illness.

"But if I accept the offer, then the risk will be very big. What am I supposed to do? I'm confused. Oh God, help me," Kirana whispered.

She couldn't hold back her sadness, so her tears indirectly dripped, then she quickly wiped her tears. She didn't want her grandmother to see her cry.

"I'm sorry, Grandma. I always put you in trouble. But I promise, I will definitely make you happy if I succeed one day," Kirana muttered.

Her tears couldn't stop. Continuing to flow down his cheeks profusely, she also kept trying to wipe away the tears.

Not long after, she leaned her head on the edge of his grandmother's bed, her hands resting on grandma's head. She fell asleep with his sadness and restlessness. She hoped that his heart would calm down when she fell asleep.

The next day, she returned to her routine at the restaurant. Although she felt very tired because ofshe only slept for a while. But she is still responsible for her job.

"Are you fine?" asked Samuel.

"Yes, Sam. I'm only not getting enough sleep."

"You take a break first. Let me take care of all this. After all, there are only few guests. I can handle it, just relax," said Samuel.

He really cared about Kirana. Of course he didn't want Kirana to get into trouble because of her condition.

"Thank you, Sam."

"You're welcome."

Kirana then sat down and relaxed. She tried to calm herself while thinking casually. Even though her mind now continued to focus on Grandma.

A few moments later, Keysa came back to the restaurant. She immediately asked Kirana to talk to her face to face.

Kirana obeyed Keysa's request. She went with Keysa and sat together at table number 12. Both of them seemed serious discussing something important. Keysa smiled at Kirana, as if she was sure that this time Kirana would comply with her request.

"Your grandmother is in need of surgery, right?" Keysa asked while handing her a bill from the hospital.

Kirana, of course, was surprised by that. She did not think that Keysa would go to the hospital to meet the doctor.

"How did you know this?" asked Kira.

"Ha haha. It's not something difficult for me. So you accept my offer?"

Kira was silent for a moment. She didn't know what to say. She just stared at her quietly.

"I'll pay all the bills, as long as you want to be a bride next week. What do you think?"

Kirana was worried and confused. She seemed to be in a dilemma with her decision.
