After explaining all of those, Somi yawned a little before finally closing her eyes, and when Mio saw this, she gently tucked Somi under the bed before finally getting off to let her sleep peacefully as it had been a long and tiring day for the two of them. But even though she was also tired herself, she didn't sleep that night, she just quietly sat next to Somi's bed and watched her sleep till the sun came up.
The whole time she was extremely worried about Somi because she couldn't exactly read what she was thinking, so she didn't know if she was just being kind and considerate to her by saying that she wasn't hurt by what happened at that day. But she sighed in relief when she saw how she was sleeping soundly and peacefully, she was glad that nothing really happened because if it truly hurt Somi mentally, she would have nightmares about it.
Seeing that nothing was wrong, Mio finally got up to leave the house and get some groceries so that she could cook some food for breakfast as eating fast food or from restaurants is something not she would plan. She would still prefer to eat what she made herself. It didn't take long for herself to come back and when she did, she saw Somi sitting on the sofa and watching the TV with full focus.
"Are you enjoying the shows that are being shown, Lady Somi?" Mio chuckled after seeing that Somi didn't even realize that she was already behind her as she just put all other focus on watching the TV.
"Huh? Oh… Yeah, we don't have this kind of show in Immortal Realm." Somi said without looking back at Mio which made her amused, she was happy inside to see that even though she was like that, she was still a little girl. She was just like a little kid who was intently watching some cartoons on the TV and nothing could distract her from watching it.
"Alright, you can just stay there and watch some TV, I'll call you again when I finish cooking our breakfast," Mio said as she patted Somi's head before heading back to the kitchen to cook their food, and it didn't take her a long time, after for about 30 minutes, she was done.
"Lady Somi! Please wash your hands first before eating." Mio yelled as she placed all the food at the table and when she finally finished setting up their table, she heard some light footsteps coming in closer towards her.
Without saying anything, she smiled at Somi before lifting her up and putting her down on the chair gently. Handing her utensils, Mio finally sat down in her chair to eat her food. Their meal was a quiet one as no one talked and because of this, Mio was quite awkward about this situation, though this is actually what she likes which was a quiet and peaceful meal, in front of Somi, it seemed that it wasn't the case.
But because she couldn't open any topics at her, she just remained quiet and continued eating her breakfast. Somi remained oblivious to this as she merely enjoyed her delicious breakfast, the moment she woke up, she felt that she just had the best sleep ever. When she didn't see Mio anywhere, she began roaming around the house as it was basically her first time doing so.
While she walked around, she saw some similarities between this house and her house at the Immortal Realm and this made some sense to her as her Mother came from the same world as Mio. So it was just natural, but if there was one thing she would say about this house, it was that it was dull and dark, it didn't have the liveliness that her house had. But she didn't mind it at all.
She was more curious about the TV of this house, so she opened it and watched a few shows, but she was pleasantly surprised to see a show that she wasn't familiar with. Even though she can see Monsters, Humans, and other things on there, it doesn't seem to be real, it was as if it was drawn by someone and made them move. She hadn't seen anything like this and because of that, she was engrossed in watching it.
However what she didn't know was what she was watching was cartoons and was considered to be only for children to watch, but if she had known this, there was a chance that she would have not watched it anymore. Like any other of her siblings, they were all mature for their age, they were always serious and never dared to play around like children. But if Kurokami was here to guide her, she would have also watched some cartoons with her daughter as an encouragement as she believes that a person is never too old to do something.
"Are you done eating, Lady Somi? Would you like to continue watching some more cartoons?" Mio asked after she saw Somi wiping her mouth with the table napkin that she provided. Looking at this, she couldn't believe that such a little girl had more etiquette than a certain someone who had already lived for more than 500 years.
"Can I? Are we not going to the Academy anymore?" Somi asked with perked ears as she was very excited at the thought that she would be able to watch those entertaining shows again.
"Well… I asked for a leave today, and yes before you can worry, I have already left something to do for my students while I'm gone. Principal Alice has already approved my leave since she also knows what happened." Mio said so that Somi wouldn't have to worry about leaving to accompany her instead of doing her job and when she heard those words, she became extremely happy. She got off her chair and climbed into Mio's lap before thanking her sincerely.
"Thank you, Mio! I'm glad that in some ways, you are not like my Mother who is very strict, she wouldn't even let me watch TV for more than an hour because she doesn't want me to have my eyes bad." Somi said as she hugged Mio for a little bit and when she heard those words, she merely forced out a smile as she didn't know if she should be happy about being complimented by something like that.
However, she also thinks that the reason that her Master doesn't let her daughter watch TV is because of her curse and because watching cartoons is all just fiction and they are not real characters, it would be fine if she were to watch some. Plus she still has her blindfold on, so if she still ever wants to watch some real people or animals, it would be completely safe for her to watch.
