Chapter 1 : The Beginning of Something

* sound of sirens wailing *

(In the middle of the forest)

Red and blue lights were flashed in Chin's eyes after he went out of his car having a feeling of nervousness after seeing such a big creepy house in the middle of the forest , his heart won't stop beating so fast when he saw his mom went inside the house together with the two other cops . This just happened because someone has reported that there was a missing person that went roaming right here , in this forest and it's their job to find that person out.

*12:00 A.M midnight *

Chin's POV

'' I got a bad feeling about this '' I said to myself as I hid behind a tree so I could not be seen by my mom's co-officer , someone might recognize me, I looked at the place and I did not like what I see , damn I'm getting so uncomfortable about this . Anyways, I'm Chin Drue a son of a police officer , somehow I'm just feeling such negative energy in here, my hairs on my arms just raised as if a ghost just passed by unto me . '' So cold '' I caressed my arm and wished that If only I didn't follow my mom on the way here , '' she's going to sue me if she finds out I'm here, I gotta go '' .

Meanwhile inside the creepy house.

In the middle of the police's investigation, the place was so dark and indeed scary, it's full of cobwebs, cockroaches, big dirty black rats,so many unnecessary noises and stuffs it smell sucks too.

'' Hey look here'' one of the cops said .

'' Just continue the search , Imma go somewhere else'' Chin's mom replied.

The flashlight of Chin's mom starting blinking and it's loosing it's light . Still ... she continued walking , '' ahh '' she shouted and fell on the floor . '' Stupid ...'' she didn't finish the words she says for she just got a hold of a bone in her hand . She quickly let it go and went up. She hit her flashlight on the wall and it lights up slowly again. '' Sheesh'' she cringed, she continued looking around and one thing got her attention. In an old shelf , she'd seen a book covered with black with no title and you can say that it's really old , she slowly went near it and took it out of where it was put.

'' What would this book be? '' she opened the front page and the other pages but all of it is blank . '' How crazy this book is , there's nothing written on it !''.

'' Officer Drue !'' Chin's mom gasped.

'' You startled me '' Officer Drue replied sarcastically.

The cop took a deep breath and said '' I got to show you something''

Officer Drue still got a hold of the book and she put it in her bag for she find it useful maybe.

Officer Drue covered her mouth as her eyes widened while seeing a dead body of a girl .

'' Is this the girl we're looking for? '' the cop asked.

'' I'm certain she is , she has the same features of what the man has described, blonde hair, wearing a white dress and white sandals , wonder what happened to this poor girl ''.

'' We must conduct an interview to that man , maybe he has something to do with this case, we don't know the full story yet and that is where we're going to find out '' the other cop suggested.

The cops used body bag and put the dead body in and also used a barricade tape of where the crime scene happened.

'' let's go out of this house, I'm done here '' Officer Drue shivers and went out of the house while the body bag was carried by the two cops on the way out.

Chin's POV

While he was driving on his way home , he just can't think of something good , he worries about how would her mom be by now .

'' ugh! why did I go in that scary place , I can't stop thinking about it '' I said it on my mind .

'' Hi mom , how's work? hope you're doing okay , be safe will you '' I texted her just to make sure she's alright.

'' Honey, you're still awake? you have school tomorrow it's already 1 A.M , get some rest already''. *received*

'' I just can't sleep, can't stop worrying about you ''.

'' Don't worry , I'm fine , don't worry I'm almost home.

'' K mom , I'll wait for you '' I sighed.

(At the house)

After I parked my car, I directly went inside the house, took a shower and changed my clothes .

Officer Drue's POV

*While driving her car on the way home*

'' Guess I'll be having sleepless nights again tsk ''.

She looked at her bag that is placed on her right side of the car , '' Is this right? bringing something that belongs to a creepy house? I mean that place was abandoned for years, this could belong to someone or maybe not ,how bad would it gets? I mean it's just a blank book .

Her mind was still running with a lot of ideas also about the investigation process a while ago .

Chin's POV

*While lying on the bed *

'' What a scary experience '' I slapped my forehead and continued talking to myself , '' Forget about it already, what's way more important is that no one caught you, understand Chin?!''.

I lied back down, covered my head with a pillow and closed my eyes.

Minutes after, Chin was already fast asleep ...

(Chin dreaming )

He was walking at an old town road alone and there were houses but with no people in it, not a single one , he continued walking when someone touched his right hand. A young unfamiliar lady approached him and said , '' ready for some changes? '' the girl asked and was gone.

''Hey wait ! please don't go! what do you mean change?what kind of changes!?please come back ''.

Someone opened the door to his room. It's her mom, she already got home .

'' please come back ''.

Officer Drue sat in Chin's bed while he was sleeping and smiled , she gets the blanket and put it properly to the chest level of Chin.
