"What the hell?!" I shouted at him.
"I was trying to prove a point, Mara, calm down," he said gently.
"Did you seriously-"
-Yes. - He said again in my mind.
My eyes were glued to his lips. "Do that again."
I was determined to catch him messing with me.
-You did not have such a hard time accepting this yesterday, sweet one. - Tohr replied in exasperation.
My jaw dropped as I stared at his immobile one as he spoke.
"This is insane..." I said mostly to myself.
"You will get used to it," he replied almost flippantly.
"Right. Sure, I will," I breathed out, trying to grasp this new spin on reality.
"What happened next?" I pushed again, wanting to know everything that happened last night.
"Well, as soon as I realized you had you too much Hars. I convinced you that we needed to head home. You became a little too attached to a tree. Claimed it was your best friend," he explained, still chuckling.
"Oh! Well, that's not as bad as I thought," I responded, slightly happier.
