Baking with a demon

Melody was confused by his kindness but shook it off as him merely being tired "Sure, I'd like some help" Elliot Pointed to the stuff on the counter "you'd definitely need my help, it's almost as if you have no idea how to make a pie" Melody sighed in self disappointment and looked over at Elliot "you're just as mean as you look" Elliot started grabbing ingredients from the fridge and cabinets "I'm not mean, I just like to be honest" Elliot sat all the ingredients on the kitchen counter, grabbed a small bowl and looked at Melody "Put two cups of flour in the bowl" Melody looked confused "huh?" Elliot sighed and pointed to the ingredients "I'm teaching you how to make a pie, so, go put two cups of flour in the bowl" Melody grabbed a measurement cup and added the flour, Elliot started making the filling already "Great, you added flour, now add two tablespoons of sugar and a teaspoon of salt" Melody mumble as she added the ingredients "humans are so mean" she looked over to Elliot "I added it" he looked over to her as he added his egg to the filling mixture "ok, now add one cup of butter and one third cup of water, then mix till you get a doughy consistency" Melody started mixing as an awkward silence pleaged the air. "So." Elliot looked over to Melody "what's with the blindfold?" he was looking at the blindfold that covered her eyes "isn't that hard to see through?" Melody stayed silent trying to figure out how to answer that. "No, I can see quite well, I just don't like to show my eyes" Elliot was skeptical of her answer but thought it rude to continue to ask. Eventually, Melody had successfully made the dough and Elliot had finished the filling. Elliot put everything together and put it in the oven "And now we wait" Melody looked at the oven, then back at Elliot "how long do we wait?" Elliot scratched his head "I'm pretty sure we let it bake for twenty minutes, then reduce the heat to 350° and let it bake for another forty minutes" Melody went and started cleaning the counter and scrubbing the dishes they made dirty. After Melody had finished cleaning up, her and Elliot talked until the pie was finished. The oven made a beeping noise, indicating that the pie was finished and Melody went and grabbed the pie, setting it down on the counter. She cut the pie to allow it to cool faster, once it had cooled, Melody and Elliot each took a slice of pie and ate it. Once melody finished her pie she washed her plate and put it away "Thanks for teaching me how to make apple pie, but I really should get to bed now" Melody smiled and left the kitchen, heading to her room. Elliot placed the rest of the pie in a container and sat it in the fridge "this girl, really is something else" He thought to himself as he headed up to his room.
