The Book is dropped

Val was always the one to give up quickly, not the hero type either, as he mostly scraped his novels at Two chapters and never went far. But when he reincarnated, he wished he had more than a couple of chapters to one of his novels. The cruel universe of his novel was a jumbled mess. Thanks to the world never being established. Humble World (3)

The dim light - Scurried away with a flick. The night of the city approached, and the alley was left in the dark leaving only our shining eyes. We didn't even breathe, focusing on our glares his eyes glew an exquisite white; mine glew a tainted red.

I felt the damp bricks in my fingertips, and the cracks touched my palm. I looked up straight into his rightful eyes. He stared back with all his soul.

"You want a story?" His eyes nodded in the dark, making me worry darker than it was, "Well, I stole something precious from them, and they want it back."

I found myself unable to resist his bloody aura. I hardly held onto my trembling knees. His smile shimmered like a Villain. The gravity around me became a jumbled mess. I gripped the bricks with all my strength adding more cracks around my hands.

"Hmmm, you seem weak though" He looked at me with a wide grin, examining every nook and cranny of my muscles.

I turned away my head, smelling the sewer water of bricks.

Strength = 4 + 13

Agility = 1 + 14

His smile was wide open, like a lion that found his prey, he was ready to take a bite, and I licked my lips, ignorant of the situation. One of my eyes was swirling around in my sweat; trying to maintain my face, I pinched myself in the leg, which helped a little as my eyes became fierce and piercing again.

But... Why was I smiling?

BloodLust = 200

A cherry red wide and long tail had come out, making a hearth shape at the end with a piercing needle at the top of it; Black horns facing forward made me bleed out of my blue hair, and my teeth became like a tiger - sharp and wide dribbling on the floor.

Mr right eye was swirling around in the blood pool, creating a spiral darker than the emptiness of space.

The little bitch looked at me with an open mouth, his eyes full of curiosity like a parrot that saw his reflection for the first time.

"What are you?"

He tilted his head like a dumb little child. His brain was wet and smooth like my back.

"I will leave that for you, but I have a deal." I smacked my long snake tongue into my teeth, trying to hold back this spectacular chance's excitement. If this kid doesn't interfere, I kill two birds with one stone.

...

The weight of the deep ocean chained me back. Bubbles came from my mouth with a blob as my voice was deep in the river where my eyes were flickering away. It looked like a wet pitch-black dimension as there was nothing to see other than my pale arms wearing a cloth of blue and silver that floated away. The top of my feet was stuck in the red sand.

I tried to grab the water to get to the top but fell every time I tried.

I clutched my hands and leg, but only my clothes and hair waved around as I was stuck while my baggy clothes went upwards.

The robe had a silver trident in the middle, and a tattered dark blue scarf covered my chest and spine. Out of options, I used my might as I walked to the place with no sun, as if it was calling me.

With every step, the golden chains rusted bit by bit, slowly becoming a particle amidst the water. My smile was gone as I felt an arrow pierce through my chest. The cyan blood opened up the dark and hollow depths as I continued my walk further. The pressure of a golem crushed me. I carried away with all the weight.

A cyan line formed my path as the dark crimson scurried away: I felt the dullness in my feet become one with the water as my eyes opened wide with a cyan spiral on my left eye.

I turned over to my back, wondering what there was: a boy with cheeks chubbier than his belly was shown with his long chestnut brown hair that flew in the water; he knelt on the ground trickling with his tears, his lips and head shook. He was trying to smile, but he was hardly holding on.

...I turned forward as I used all my strength in my legs to run away. The bubbles multiplied as I took step after step, my breath breaking down everywhere. My eyes trembled as I grabbed the water forward with my fingertips. I wanted this to happen no matter what.

I never wanted to turn back. I needed to shoo away that sight.

Scoosh

I reached the end of the ocean, where a dark pit stood. I skydived into it with empty eyes, and a jet of bubbles came from my back as I fell. Why was this happening?

I face-planted into dark concrete, still fresh and mushy, holding me back as I walked forward.

I planted my head forward. A glowing cyan sword shimmered away in the dark, calling for me to pick it up: The cold and innocent sword, painted with an ocean blue color and glowing with a hopeful cyan. The gold and silver hilt engraved the words in my head.

"The Sake Of Dreams"

It told me as I moved forward. The concrete dried, refusing to let go of me as the robe stuck to the floor. The cyan glow broke a path to the sword as I gritted my teeth using my bleeding and numb body.

I extended my hands, eyes spinning around as they became sharp and untouched, and I breathed in the shallow and empty space, making my mind shake.

My hands grasped the hilt, blinding the room; my cold hands were warming with the heat of the glowing sword that soon reached my heart. I looked at the white floor, where the sword was here for me to pull out. I breathed heavily my mind still not able to comprehend the situation.

"...What the hell just happend"
