Finding Clues

There was an awkward silence for a while until Bella finally spoke.

“It was first of March. It was Jane’s birthday. Since it was her eighteenth birthday, we all decided to treat it special and that was how we brought the idea of going to a club. Everything was fine until that night when she took two shots of alcohol and felt dizzy. I don’t know what happened after that because Dylan took her away.”

Dylan who heard his name being mentioned, shifted his gaze to look at Bella, sending her a quiet glare which no one noticed.

“Is that what happened from your side?” Jody asked, looking at Bella and she nodded in the affirmative.

“Did you get that Adam?” She turned her head to look at Adam.

“Yes,” replied Adam who was holding a note and a pen.

“Okay good. So… Chloe?” Jody raised her brows a little, suggesting for Chloe to speak next.

“Uhm…” Chloe trailed off before dropping her shoulders.

“Bella already said it all.”
