"What did they do to you, Lillian?" Berthol asked, becoming concerned for the child all over again. He glared at Ray but he appeared unfazed but it.
"It wasn't Ray, don't worry about it," She said with a laugh. "In fact, I may have done this to myself instead."
"Why?" He knelt beside her and saw that face also had cracks in it and seem to be dispersing a little bit away from the more he stared.
"How is it your fault?" he asked, looking at her with a surprised look on his face.
"I converted my mana to stamina and became like this." She kind of lied. "Don't worry, once my mana fills up again, it will be fine."
"If you say so." He said not buying anything she just said.
"What is going on here?" he asked, looking from Ray to Lillian. "Or is it too sensitive to be talked about?"
