Millenium Plaza changed its name a lot of times during its occupation for hundreds of years. Although it was utilized for various public functions nowadays, everyone knew that it used to serve as a public execution site in the past.
Every week, death row criminals were hauled to the heightened platforms to be executed. Some died by the gallows, some by decapitation, some by gunshot, and some by immolation.
Society of that era was very creative in deciding the worst and most humiliating way for human beings to leave the world. Back when the existence of vampires and werewolves was largely discreet, they did not usually get executed. They usually died in combat or wars, often in grisly manners.
Nowadays, public execution was seen as an atrocity. For normal criminals, at least.
The accumulating grudge toward Organization X from past tragedies prompted all three races to develop immense hatred toward the twenty werepires.
