"Aiden?? Aiden!!!"
Aiden lay motionlessly in Ryan's arm, his eyes tightly shut and his lips slightly open.
Ryan and Zane tapped at Aiden's cheek and squeezed his arms repeatedly, but the latter gave no response.
Ryan looked up at his grandfather in horror.
"Grandfather, what is the meaning of this?"
Lord Marcus Caldwell repositioned the empty glass column and covered it with the black veil again.
"Give it some time, will you? Aiden and the Eye need to adapt to each other. Had it been the real Perimedes, naturally there is no need for any sort of adaptation process."
Not to mention that Aiden's body was physically not that strong.
"Children, pay attention," Lord Marcus Caldwell clapped his hands to draw his grandsons' attention back to him.
"The werepires are going to arrive in two nights to invade Stonewick and steal the Eye. Zane, you will stay with the family and fight. Ryan, take Aiden far away from Stonewick. We will attack Iceland as soon as Aiden recovers."
