Jenny Parsons' Woes
Jerry smacked the speaker on the shoulder and shooed them away.
"Go, go! You are embarrassing me!!!"
After a round of playful teasing, the cackling group went away and left poor Jerry and Aiden alone.
Jerry took out his phone and a small notebook. In it, he had noted the type of flowers and shrubs that he recognized from the pictures of frozen and withering plants.
He had even taken an effort to get pictures of the living plants from the internet so that Aiden had an idea about the kinds of flowers that they were trying to revive.
"Amazing," Aiden readily praised.
"I will never be able to do this alone."
Jerry rubbed his nose proudly when he heard Aiden's praise. "The gardening club works with a lot of plants and flowers. If I cannot do this exercise, they will kick me out of the club!"
After they went through the list of plants, they drew the garden layout together and marked the areas that were reserved for each plant.
