Aiden successfully coaxed Grandma Thompson into having a small birthday party in the hospital.
The pot of begonia that Ryan brought to replace the original pot that Aiden lost at the train also became a huge hit amongst the elderly's newly gained friends.
Never mind that the flowers looked like they came from the costliest flower shop out there. Aiden might know nothing about gardening, but he was pretty sure that Grandma Thompson's begonia never looked so vibrant.
Aiden told his grandmother that his very talented senior at university, Jerry Tanner, helped him to take care of the begonia.
Whether Grandma Thompson bought Aiden's story or not was unknown. She merely voiced her gratitude toward Jerry and said that they should treat him to a home-cooked meal once she was released from the hospital.
