Broken Seal

David, in his air form blew out of the academy, reforming outside the academy gates and hoping nobody would see or noticed he was gone he ran in the forest, headed straight for the Temple of The Golden Dragon Warrior.

Araban arose from his slumber, sensing something in the air that woke him up.

Araban then got up from his bed and upon doing so, Steven who was still awake, lying on the fall turned to him.

"Why are you, old man?" asked Steven.

"One of the students has left the safety of the academy. I have to retrieve them" said Araban.

"How do you know?" asked Steven.

"The wind told me and it never lies" said Araban as he got up.

"Get up" said Araban.

"What?" said Steven upon hearing Araban asking him to get up?

"You're coming with me, to help me catch the student" said Araban.

"What? Why?" asked Steven, not wanting to follow Araban to forest so late at night.

"Because I said so, now get up" said Araban with a strict voice and an ice-cold glare.

Steven upon seeing Araban's face begrudgingly got up.

Soon Steven and Araban were riding their fire and air dragons through the night sky.

"Are you sure someone's out here" asked Steven who was begin to get tire of flying around the forest aimlessly, looking for the student who Araban sensed through the wind.

"Like I said before, the wind never lies" said Araban before flying ahead on his dragon, using the power of the wind to try and sense the student hidden down below within the dense forest.

David managed to make to the temple and once there he felt a strange power from within it, calling out to him.

He then began to approaching, feeling, with each step taken, the power pulling him closer and closer to it.

Soon, David felt as though he wasn't the one moving his body, it was instead the strange power calling out to him.

David was now standing before the temple, taking a moment to just stare at it, wondering why he was so drawn to it before raising his hand and placing it on the temple's door and immediately he did so he felt an overwhelming wave of power flow through his entire body.

As the power flowed through him, he felt something within him that felt like some kind of wall blocking and preventing something lying on the other side from reaching him, and the power continued to flow through him that wall he felt within him began to crack and break away before ultimately crumbling down, allowing whatever laid at the other side reach David.

As David felt the wall within him crumble and begin to fall apart, he felt the immense and pure power hidden away at by the wall begin to flow through his body, he had never felt anything like it.

Then four elemental rings; one of air, one of fire, one of earth and another of water, surround his entire body.

As the power continued to flow through him it was beginning to be too much for David to handle and when it eventually reached a point where David could no longer contain the power he screamed out, releasing all the power in a massive explosion.

After that, David collapsed on the floor before slowly closing his eyes.

Steven and Araban, while riding their dragons heard the explosion caused by David; they then immediately rode their dragons to the sound of the explosion.

Upon reaching there, they were shocked to see David, lying on the floor next to the temple.

"What's he doing here?" said Steven, shocked and annoyed to see that it was David they were looking for.

Araban remained silent, just staring at David's unconscious body wondering what he was doing outside the academy next to the Temple of The Golden Dragon Warrior and what caused the explosion that put him in the state he was in.

After a few moments of thinking Araban went to David and picked him up.

"Go back to the house" said Araban.

"What are you going to do with him?" asked Steven.

"Take him back to the academy" said Araban before summoning his dragon and riding away on it.

Steven, upon seeing Araban gave an angry grin before summoning his dragon and riding away.

Araban rode his dragon back to the academy as fast as he could.

Once there he made his was the Head master's office.

"Araban what are you doing at my office so late and why is one of my student unconscious on your arms" asked the Head master upon seeing Araban and the unconscious David on his arms.

"Your guess is as good as mine, I found him on the floor next to the great Temple of The Golden Dragon Warrior right after hearing an explosion coming from the temple" said Araban.

"What?" said the Head master, shocked upon hearing what Araban said?

"What caused the explosion?" asked the Head master.

"I'm not sure but I suspect he might" said Araban while looking at David.

"Take him to the infirmary, let Boma have look at him and find out if his alright. We'll find out more about the incident from him when he wakes up" said the Head master.

"Alright" said Araban before leaving with David.

As Araban left the room the Head master thought about David and why he would leave the academy and go to the Temple of The Golden Dragon Warrior.

There was no reason for him to be there as the temple's doors could only open by a golden dragon warrior and as far as he knew, David was just an ordinary air dragon warrior.

Something didn't feel right; there was no logical explanation as to why David would go to the temple, except...

The Head master sighed deeply, knowing that was what he was thinking was impossible and refused to believe it but yet he could not stop himself from wondering.

The Head master at that moment was uncertain about a lot of things but there was one thing he was certain of and that was, there was more to David that met the eye, little did he know how true his thoughts about David were.

Slowly opened his eyes and upon doing so found his in a strange grass covered meadow.

"Where am I, how did I get here" David asked himself as he got.

David then saw strange woman standing in the distance.

"Who is she?" David wondered before he began to approach her, wanting to get closer to see who she was.

As David was begin to get close enough to the woman to be able to see her face, the mysterious woman to a few steps away from him.

David continued moving towards the woman but as he did so the woman continued to move away from him causing David to move even faster towards her, running as fast as he could and the woman, in turn, ran away from as well.

David ended up chasing the woman through the meadow but as he failed to noticed the darkness slowly creeping in and consuming everything around him.

David soon caught up to the woman but before he could reach her the darkness enveloped her and everything around him.

David then, taking a moment to look around but all he could was an endless void of darkness.

David then noticed something not too far from where he was.

David then, out of curiosity, went to closer to the mysterious object.

Upon reaching it, he found out that the mysterious object was none other than a mirror but this was no ordinary mirror, David could sense something was strange about the mirror, it was a feeling he could explain.

David then decided to look in to the mirror and upon doing so, instead of seeing his reflection in it he saw a familiar looking cell.

David eyes then widened with fear and horror upon recognizing the cell.

Then a familiar looking pair of violet dragon eyes appeared from within the cell before finally monstrous voice spoke, saying, "LET ME OUT", with a voice so deep it caused the mirror to crack before completely shattering.
