Redemption

As I made my way towards Tobias, I could see the fear in his eyes. It actually started to effect me that I had killed Caroline in such a brutal way. Didn't she deserve it? Did I over react? She killed my mom, so it was justified? Tears start to pour out of my eyes. What's wrong with me? Who knew a wolf could cry so much. "Dahlia, you must calm yourself" my spirit wolf spoke to me. "I'm trying but my mom" I said with a whimper. Tobias and I lock eyes and I can tell he has a murderous intent seeping out of him, afraid or not. "Why are you crying!" Tobias demands. "I never wanted to hurt someone, let alone kill them!" I snarled. "You can't fool me Ravenwood!" Tobias hissed. "Stay focused and alert, Vampires are dangerous" my wolf tells me. "I will" I reply. I watch as Tobias manages to get to his feet. We start to circle each other. Our goal is one in the same, to kill. The tension builds as we're waiting to see who will make the first move. Making the wrong move could be our last. Tobias makes the first move. His speed alone puts me at a disadvantage. He is easily, moving at the speed of light. With his giant extended claws he uses them to try and shred me apart. I take blow after blow and I can see my blood starting to drip from my wounds. It hurts but after the pain and agony of my transformation, I have a renewed pain tolerance. I watch as he moves again, this time my eyes have adjusted to his speed. He makes attempt after attempt to strike me but I'm able to dodge it. My ability to keep up, only makes him grow more angry. "Foolish child, you will never be able to beat me!" Tobias yells. "I never wanted to fight you, and I never wanted all this death!" I snarl back at him. The rest of the pack is watching as we trade blow after blow. I finally was able to land a few blows of my own with my paws. My strikes are barely noticed by him. "Why are you withholding your strength!" Tobias screams at me. "I don't want to hurt anyone else!" I tell him through mindlink. "You better fight me with everything you have, or I won't feel satisfied when I smother the life out of you!" Tobias yells. "You have to do what you feel is right, but why must we continue with this blood feud!" Dahlia growled. Deep down, I knew I had to kill Tobias, so we could live in peace. I know he is a misguided being, ruled by hatred and grief. Tobias is suffering from the loss of a loved one, his mate. How can I manage to understand? A few weeks ago, I thought I was a normal human, and today I turned into a werewolf. However, I can't let him continue to go around killing the innocent, enough blood has been spilled justifying his misguided sense of revenge and justice. "The blood will continue, until every last Ravenwood is dead!" Tobias screams at me while speeding towards my direction. I don't know how to reason with him, or how to stop his murderous rampage without killing him. I have to stay strong, I have to find a way to defeat him and save the pack. "Dahlia, you need to fight back" my wolf says. "I really don't want to kill anymore" Dahlia replied back. Tobias comes after me again and he grabs hold of me. I didn't know that vampires could be so strong. I could feel that, he was trying to squeeze the life out of me. Then, with all his might, he threw me. I went flying over over the roof. I hit somewhere in the center of the mansion and I'm hit with such force I could feel my bones fracture. I went rolling over the top of the roof and flipped over onto the beach in front of the manor. I could feel my injuries instantly heal. A few seconds went by and Tobias came flying down right in front of me. "You're tougher than you look!" Tobias said smugly. "I'm a lot stronger than you think" Dahlia said regaining her footing. The scene on the beach was a hellish nightmare. Pieces of underlings nourished the beach, pools of blood were every where and you could see craters where it looks like bombs went off. What happened to our haven? He grabs me again and flings me. This time I smash into a giant pine. You couod hear my spine crumble on impact. "I'm not going to kill you right away, I'm going to toy with you for awhile and then I'm going to kill you" Tobias seethed. "Do your worst" Dahlia snarled. Tobias must have taken this as a challenge because he grabs me seeping of rage and starts punching my body, over and over again. With ever blow I can feel my bones shatter. "Fight back Dahila!" my spirit wolf screams. I can feel my injuries heal as I'm lying there, I lock my eyes on Tobias. He goes to hit me again but I quickly dodge it and I turn a completely tear his arm off in one bite. Tobias is screaming bloody murder and he falls to his knees holing where his arm once was. "You...You Bitch!" He screams. "I told you I didn't want to kill or hurt anyone else!" Dahlia growled. I could tell he was afraid I could smell his fear pour from his entire being. Tobias tries to attack me again and this time I throw my body into him and it send him flying into a pine, you can see his body indent as he falls to the ground. I walk over to where he fell and I stand over him, and I stare into his eyes. "Do it already!" Tobias yells at me. "I told you...I'm nothing like my birth parents and I never wanted to hurt anyone" Dahlia replied. All I could think about was my mom, telling me not to let things change me. How could I not be changed? She died right in front of me after sacrificing herself for me. "This is your only chance to leave this place and to leave this blood feud behind" Dahlia snarled. "Why are you letting me leave?" Tobias replied. "As proof that we can exist together and put this behind us, I'm not my parents" Dahlia said.
