TAKE THIS VARIANT AS A TASTE OF WHAT IS SOON TO COME. Cauld Facility - A play on words, but not for the fact that the facility itself is cold - It's because of something far worse. In this world, there is a chance, albeit a low one, that a person who's born will gain an 'ability.' These ability-holders are called 'Blessed', simply because their ability is always unique and because they cannot be explained. These children are taken under the guise that they will be protected under the 'Lord's gaze' where in reality, they will be trained. By no means is this any normal training. Cauld Facility - Or in other words - Cold Facility. A dead, emotionless facility where feelings don't last long. This is undoubtedly the fate of all of these so-called 'Blessed.' However, what if one of these poor souls woke up? Realised the situation? Understood what was going on? Will he go mad? Will he break down? Will he end his life? We follow the story of Ryn.
