"I'm here to announce something to you" Mark stood at the foot of her door.

The words he spoke cut sharp in her breath. Her breathing paused anxiously waiting for the words to spill off his tongue regardless she already knew what he wanted to say.

"And what could that be?" She asked in an edgy tone. Her face remained calm but it was a complete storm in her mind. She wasn't ready to hear why now?

He scratched the back of neck looking down at his feet with a small smile crooked at the corner of his lips. He only did that when he was nervous to tell her what had happened knowing her reaction would explode and destroy a lot of things.

Although this time, Percy already knew his announcement.
