"So, gentlemen, what have you found about the teenagers on the video?" The Prime Minister asked in a grave tone. At this moment, Akio Hideki was not a happy man. In Japan, he was the most politically powerful and influential man… Well, he used to be when everything was still normal. Right now, he barely had any control over his forces and he didn't even know what was happening outside the premises of the Cabinet Office.

They have tried to contact people outside the premises of the Cabinet Office, but nothing was working. They couldn't even use satellite phones for communication. When the whole shit started, they lost quite a lot of people, but the survivors were able to quickly get it under control. After that, they have been trying to establish contact with the outside, but they were yet to succeed in that regard. The soldiers could have easily left the premises, but the higher-ups didn't want them to leave, for security reasons, obviously.

After a day the shit started, a floating QR code appeared right outside the main gates of the Cabinet Office, so it was obvious that they decided to investigate it. After all, it might a threat to the life of their Prime Minister. They quickly realized what it is, but the higher-ups were still hesitating to use the App because according to them, the App wasn't secure and someone could use the App to spy on them. Technically, they weren't wrong, but they did not have any other options besides the Mana Archive App if they wanted to establish communication.

They were having a heated discussion on the said matter and that is when someone started to Stream a Live video. The Prime Minister wasn't happy with this development… He had lost all control over the country, not only that, people were growing stronger. If this continued then the Government would lose all of its powers and chaos would run amok in the country. That was something Akio Hideki wanted to avoid at any costs.

"Yes, we have identified a couple of them even without our satellite access" one of the men sitting on the opposite side of the table said as he extended the tablet toward the Prime Minister. Akio Hideki picked up the tablet so that he could see the picture clearly. It was the picture of a purple-haired woman holding a Katana. It was a picture taken from the Live Stream. "The girl's name is Saeko Busujima and she is the daughter of Raiga Busujima" The man explained and the Hideki simply raised his brows.

"Should I know them?" The Prime Minister asked and the man simply shook his head.

"No, sir, but Raiga Busujima is quite a famous and well-known Master of Kenjutsu. He has even represented our country quite a few times" The man explained and the Prime Minister hummed in understanding.

"I see… So, who is the other one we were able to recognize?" Hideki asked curiously.

"Sir please swipe to the right" The man requested and the Prime Minister did so. It was a picture of Yozora Daichi, the Prime Minister recognized the boy in an instant, after all, the girl named Gisele who was Streaming had introduced him multiple times. "He is Yozora Daichi and he is the adopted son of Yozora Kemono" The man said and once again the Prime Minister raised his brows in curiousness. Once again the man was speaking like he should know who this Yozora Kemono was.

"Who is this Yozora Kemono?" The Prime Minister asked with a frown as he placed the tablet on his desk.

Another man sitting on the opposite side of the table cleared his throat and extended a file toward the Prime Minister. Hideki accepted the file with a questioning look on his face, He took a look at the cover of the file and his eyebrows shot to his hairline in surprise when he noticed the CONFIDENTIAL mark stamped over the file. The man gulped nervously as he opened the file, he did not know what he was going to find inside the file, but he was having a bad feeling.

As the man continued to read the file, he kept paling more and more. The men sitting on the opposite side of the table were worried that the Prime Minister's soul might leave his body or he might turn into a vampire if he kept paling at his current pace. After nearly half an hour the Prime Minister finally finished reading the whole file and then he robotically placed the file on his desk. He grabbed his glass and then he chugged down the contents of the glass without bothering to stop.

After a few more seconds of silence, the man finally regained his bearings and then he started to dangerously glare at the men sitting on the opposite side of his desk, but none of them reacted to his murderous glare. Hideki poked his finger at the file lying on the table with an enraged look on his face. "Why the hell wasn't I told about Mana??" The man asked dangerously.

"It was confidential" One of the men answered in a neutral tone and Hideki barely held back his fury, he wanted to punch the man so badly but he held back his rage.

"I am the Prime Minister of this country!!" Akio Hideki roared in anger. He held himself back from physically attacking the man, but that didn't mean that he was able to let go of his anger. Once again, the men sitting on the opposite side of the desk didn't even flinch or react.

"So what? You weren't informed because of the same reason. There is no guarantee that you would have been reelected in the next election. If we keep informing all the Prime Ministers, then it would have become public knowledge long ago" One of the men explained and even though Hideki was bubbling in rage, there was not much he could do. After all, they were right. He felt insulted to know that his own staff wasn't sure if he could be reelected or not, but he could understand where they were coming from.

Even though he could understand where they were coming from, he simply couldn't accept that, but for now, he decided to let go of the matter as there was not much he could do to change their mindset. "Fine!!" The Prime Minister growled and after a few moments, he released a huge sigh. "So… Now that I know who Yozora Kemono is, what am I supposed to do with the information?" the Prime Minister asked in a sarcastic tone.

"We don't know, we simply wanted to give you the information" one of the men shrugged and a vein on top of the Prime Minister's head twitched in irritation.

"What do you think we should do we these super-powered people?" The Prime Minister asked, wanting to change the topic. Hideki wanted to bring them under the control of the Government. It was the best way to maintain stability and power. He couldn't allow these people free reign.

"We should try to bring them under our control, but that is not going to work" one of the men said. He understood what the Prime Minister was trying to say and even though he agreed with the man. It was simply impossible at this moment. First of all, we would need to assert our control over the rest of the Government functioning bodies of our country, which is kind of impossible at this moment, and secondly, most of our power came from modern weapons and artillery, which is also kind of useless at this situation" the man added before anyone could say anything.

"He is right, first we must consolidate our power. We must start creating our own super-powered soldiers or we won't be able to match their power. Due to the interference of Mana, even our missile guidance systems have stopped working and we don't know for sure if our fighter jets are facing the same problem or not" the second man said while shaking his head.

After listening to the words of these two people, the Prime Minister couldn't help but feel enraged. He wasn't enraged at them, he was in fact enraged at their whole situation. He simply couldn't believe that this was actually happening. He rapped his fingers on the table with a thoughtful look on his face. After the world has gone into shit, he had lost most of his power and influence and he finally realized how to regain his lost power and influence.

"I see… Then I think we should start expanding. People are dying out in the streets, waiting for the Government to send help, I think it is about time that we start helping people so that we could restore people's trust in our Government" The Prime Minister explained, and one of the men sitting on the other side of his desk frowned.

"Are you sure? If we do that then we would lose some of our security…" The man trailed off with an unsure look on his face.

"Yes, I know. It is a risk, but it is a necessary risk, you know. If we start helping people, then we could recruit more people as soldiers who would work for the Government" The Prime Minister said with a grin and the men sitting on the other side of the table happily agreed with the plan… Slowly they reassert their control over the country and this was the best way to start…
