~~With Kemono~~

"Bwahaha!! That's my son!" Kemono laughed boisterously as she saw her son decimate the Zombie horde with close to no difficulty. She wiped a fake tear from the corner of her eyes. "I have raised him pretty well" Kemono added and everyone around continued to give her weird looks, after all, all of them knew that she was romantically involved with her son. That was not a sign of good parenting, but none of them dared to say that out loud.

"Can I see your smartphone?" Saya asked Christine, the girl simply handed over her smartphone to Saya with a questioning look on her face. Christine was also watching the Stream in complete awe, she was happy for Gisele. As Gisele's friend, she knew about Gisele's dreams, she knew that Gisele wanted to become an Instagram influencer, and probably an Onlyfans model in the future, but at the same time, Christine was kind of jealous too…

Gisele got such an easy-going job, Christine already knew that Gisele was going to flourish in this job. Gisele had a knack for these kinds of things. The reason Christine was jealous of because Gisele's wasn't that hard. Even if she could have done what Gisele was doing, maybe she wouldn't have been good like Gisele, but she could have done it too. Now, Gisele was going to fulfill her dream while most of them were struggling to survive.

After a few moments, Christine shook her head. Gisele might have gotten the chance to fulfill her dream and live an easy life but didn't come without its own risks. From now on, Gisele would have to accompany the front liners, which meant that she would have to put herself at extreme risk. That was something Christine wasn't willing to do… She felt slightly bad for Gisele, but nothing more than that…

Saya practically rolled her eyes when she saw that Christine was using an iphone. 'Why am I not surprised?' Saya groaned. In western countries, the iphone was more popular than any other smartphone. Even though Saya didn't use an iphone, she knew how to use one. After all, she was a genius.

Saya grabbed a brand new iPhone from the stock Daichi had collected today. She along with Tawata Jiro were setting up a bunch of smartphones Daichi had taken… *ahem* liberated from the shop. Saya felt distasteful to use the word 'taken', she felt that the word 'liberated' was more fitting for the situation. After all, nobody would have used smartphones if they stayed in the stores. Now, they were going to put these smartphones into good use…

Saya decided to use airdrop to share the Mana Archive App, and just like Saya suspected, they could share the App without a hitch. A bright smile formed on Saya's face and without wasting any more time, Saya returned the used smartphone to Christine. Saya decided to use the brand new iphone to share the App with the other phones. Without wasting any time, Kemono made her way toward Saya. Kemono had left her original smartphone in the locker room back in the Mana Research Division.

Saya already knew what the woman wanted, so she quickly grabbed another one of the brand new iphone and she quickly handed it over to Kemono after sharing the App. If Saya was being honest, she was kind of scared of Kemono, who wasn't? Well, Daichi wasn't, but his matter is a completely different story… After all, Yozora Daichi is not only her son, he was her lover too… Yeah, nobody said that the two of them are a model mother and son duo…

~~In Takagi Mansion~~

"Souichiro-sama, you need to see this" one of the men screamed as he broke into the meeting room of Souichiro Takagi. The man was having a meeting regarding the food shortage and fighters shortage with his top advisors. There was something else he wanted to talk about, but he wanted to bring it up at the end of the meeting. Instead of chastising the man who dared to interrupt the meeting, he gestured the man to come forward. He had told his people that he will be in a meeting, so it must be something really important.

The man stepped forward with his smartphone in his hand and when he finally arrived in front of Souichiro Takagi, he handed over his smartphone to the said man. The man did not know how to explain the whole situation, so he simply handed over his smartphone so that Souichiro Takagi could see the whole situation for himself. Souichiro received the smartphone with a look of dread on his face. The man standing in front of him was one of the men who had scanned the floating QR code, and he was planning to discuss the matter of the QR code with his advisors at the end of the meeting.

That was the matter he was planning to discuss at the end of the meeting, but it seemed that he needed to move up the time. A video of a group of teenagers decimating a Zombie horde was playing on the screen. Souichiro's eyes grew wide in surprise as he quickly recognized a couple of teenagers in the video. "This is Streaming Live, right?" Souichiro questioned and after getting a nod from the man, the look on Souichiro's face turned grave. Souichiro not only recognized a couple of teenagers, but he also recognized the location. The group was decimating a small horde near his mansion.

"Souichiro, what is it?" One of the advisors asked curiously.

Souichiro took a deep breath and placed the smartphone on the table. He increased the volume before sliding the smartphone towards the middle of the table. All of his advisors stood up so that they could have a better look at what was on the screen.

"Is this for real?!!" One of the advisors blurted out with a bewildered look on his face.

"Are they even human, especially that psychotic woman?" Another one of his advisors asked with a frown on his face.

"That is not all! Watch the surroundings" The only female advisor spoke up with a grim look on her face.

"Hah!! That's near the mansion. I don't agree with what they are doing, but they are quite strong. I think we should ask them to join our group, we are already low on fighters. What do you think, Souichiro?" Another advisor asked with a contemplative look on his face.

"Wait! Before all of that, tell us how you are watching this. I could have sworn that someone told me the mobile networks are not working…" The last advisor sneered sarcastically.

"Yes, this is one of the things I wanted to discuss at the end of the meeting. One of her rescue teams has discovered a floating QR code near the Taiei shopping town. They decided to investigate the QR code and when they did, a screen appeared in front of their eyes asking them to scan the QR code, so they did…" Souichiro explained and he was about to explain more when the female advisor cut him off.

"You mean just like the Status Window we can see?" The female advisor questioned and it was pretty clear that the other advisors also had similar questions and after getting a nod of confirmation from Souichiro, they also nodded their heads in understanding. Now that the advisors were satisfied, Souichiro decided to continue his explanation.

"After they scanned the QR code, an App called the Mana Archive Community App was installed on their smartphones. The App has various functions like any other Community Apps. There is also a function called Live Streaming and currently, they are using the Live Streaming function" Souichiro finished the explanation and all the advisors looked contemplative after hearing Souichiro's words.

"So, we can use the Live Streaming function too?" The second advisor asked in a hopeful tone, but Souichiro dashed his hopes with a shake of his head.

Souichiro glanced toward the man who brought the phone, the man immediately understood what Souichiro wanted from him. So, the man stepped forward, the advisors turned toward him. The man gulped nervously, but somehow he was able to swallow his nervousness. "All of the Users are given 100 Units after they install the App on their Smartphones. Units are the currency used by the App" The man added before anyone could what Units were. "To use the Live Streaming function, you would need to create a Streaming Channel, and therein lies the problem, to create a Channel, you need 100 Units and then you need at least 5 Units to start streaming" The man finished his explanation and once again the advisors looked contemplative.

"How can you earn more Units?" The fifth advisor asked.

"By Live Streaming" The man gestured toward the phone. "Or by selling something in the Pawn Shop. Pawn Shop is also a function in the App" The man added before any of the advisors could ask what was Pawn Shop.

"So, how did they start streaming considering they also received only 100 Units after installing the App" The first advisor rubbed his chin.

"They must have sold something in the Pawn Shop" The female advisor concluded.

"Yes, that is what I have thought, but can't sell just anything at the Pawn Shop. The App will only accept the items dropped after you killed an enemy" Souichiro answered.

"...You mean to say that Zombies can also drop items after they are killed?" The fourth advisor asked in a bewildered tone.

"Apparently, yes. I haven't seen it myself, but I have tried to sell a normal dagger in the Pawn Shop and that is when the message appeared on the screen" Souichiro explained and the advisors nodded their heads with grave looks on their faces…
