-Every flower blooms at its own pace-
Dami's pov
Zen and I had finally made amends and everything was going according to plan.I was ecstatic to meet him in the afternoon at my grandma's house for tea.
When we spoke about it on the phone,he seemed withdrawn and nonchalant.I did not ask him about it and hoped that he would be fine. I did not want to worry much about it as it would dampen my mood.
I went about looking for an outfit and mentally preparing myself for the meetup. I needed to show my grandma that I was in love with him and convince her that our relationship was real.
She had fallen in love with my grandpa when they were kids and what they had was special. She had been so anguished when he had died. They had comforted each other when my parents had passed and now that they were all gone, she had to rely on her loneliness for company.
She knows how true love feels like and she also wants the same for me.Truthfully,I also want to experience it but the only way I can even come close to it is through Zen and the fake marriage.I sighed and knew that it would be asking for too much from it and went to get ready.
I wanted to go for a coquettish look and so I chose a pastel pink cardigan to match with my white camisole and white skirt.
I looked at my curls in the mirror and chose not to do anything with my hair.I picked up my bag and walked to the car park.I shot a quick text to Zen and Morris was ready to leave.I entered the car and we were off to what would be the first day of our fake relationship.
