The Founding Titan

Before he starts his plan on invading the Eldian, he'd like to learn how to freely use his newfound power.

As Ymir mentioned, she saw him turn into a giant devil, which he couldn't really remember turning into.

However, he did remember what he felt before he transformed into whatever giant devil she mentioned about.

It was boiling rage, however, he felt like being angry had nothing to do with it, something he felt from his spine when he lost his sense of self.

From his spine…

He started feeling whatever it was in his spine, hopefully, he was right about this, for this is not but a guess.

Hito closed his eyes, he concentrated on what he felt inside his spine, and he felt something foreign like a lightning bolt. That's what he felt and all of a sudden muscle tissues covered his entire body and created a massive body, a devil-looking titan like before.

But this time, he felt conscious however it was hard to stay conscious, no wonder he was knocked out when he first used this ability because this power causes a huge mental strain.

But it was something he could get used to very soon, although he felt weird honestly, it was easily one of the weirdest sensations that he felt in his entire 17-year-old existence.

But it wasn't as weird nor painful as awakening his magic core.

While using this power, he was feeling nigh invincible, which isn't a good thing for his mentality, he has to get rid of it, such dangerous thinking it could very well get him killed in the future.

Being arrogant could bite him in the back later, that's why he's going to remain humble, he wasn't going to bite more than he could chew.

He tried moving his gigantic arm, but it felt strange. It's like moving a new type of limb, it's a bit strange moving it for the first time.

After a few minutes of testing all of the limbs from his titan-like body, he started walking with his giant body, and honestly, he was slow, but then again the bigger you are the slower you are.

That's just the fundamental law of physics and gravity, it would be strange that he's this big and as fast as his human body.

That's just breaking the law of physics, but then again, he wouldn't be surprised if some giants are capable of running as fast as light.

There's only one thing that could break the law of gravity and physics, it's magic because it had its very own system.

Magic…wait…!

He realized something, that's right magic, the one who would bend the natural laws of the world. Seriously, what if he tried reinforcement magecraft while in titan form?

How fast would he be after that? Normally it wouldn't be possible to reinforce something this huge, because it takes a massive amount of prana to reinforce a single limb of a dozen meters behemoth.

However prana wasn't exactly a problem, he got a lot of them in fact his magic core has almost infinite prana in amount, what he lacks is spells, not the prana.

If he'd learn more powerful magecraft in the future he'd be more powerful than anyone who is using the same magecraft.

But before he tries to reinforce anything, he needs to get used to moving with his titan form, now it's time to start walking.

Woah~ that was close he almost tripped there, if he did the poor forest would be crushed under his titan-massive weight.

After almost tripping in his titan form, he was more cautious than before, and paid more attention to his surroundings, and also his feet.

Because of his sheer size, it is unlikely he'd trip on some rock or something, he'd likely trip on his own two gigantic feet if he's not careful.

Eventually, he got used to walking in this new form, while it wasn't that hard, it wasn't easy either.

He raised his giant hand above and he literally touched the clouds, though they vanished as soon as he did.

It was his childhood dream to touch the clouds and he never thought he'd achieve it. Honestly, he felt both satisfied and disappointed.

Satisfied because he managed to realize his childhood dream of touching the clouds.

Disappointed because he couldn't physically touch it, but then again he was aware that clouds themselves are made out of gas.

Anyway, now that he got used to moving his giant limbs, it's now time to try and use reinforcement with this titan form of his.

Whether it's going to work or not, he shall see it through, but he had a good feeling that it would.

Now he's going to use reinforcement magecraft, he slowly put prana in his right arm, he wasn't sure if he was adding the right ratio-

Crack- Boom!

His right arm exploded.

Oops, he may have put too much prana in Titan's right arm.

This is going to take a while to figure out the right ratio of prana, that is needed to reinforce his titan limbs.

The good thing in this form is he could regenerate his limbs or else, there's no next time.

Ymir was looking at a familiar sight, of the titan that saved her from being slaughtered by Eldian hunters.

She stared at the behemoth in awe, at first this thing scared her, but right now, it doesn't, more like she couldn't because this behemoth that looked like a devil is her savior, and hoped, she wouldn't be scared of it, she refuses to.

Though, it was truly an amazing sight to see, now that she had a clear look at the titan.

It may look like a devil, but to her, it wasn't. The titan looks magnificent in her eyes, although it was far bigger than the first time she saw this titan.

Or was it just her imagination?

She wasn't sure, however, she wondered if she could do the same.

Ymir remembered yesterday, clearly that he said that they were the same.

It made her cheeks turn red, that memory alone made her heart flutter.

They were the same.

Meaning, they have a special bond with each other, to a teenager like her, it was as romantic as it could be.

A special bond that only the two of them have.

She quickly shook her head, it was not time for her to fantasize, maybe later but definitely not now.

If truly they were the same, maybe just maybe she could become like he is.

However, how exactly does she become like him? 

Ymir stared at Hito's titan form, she wanted to be like him, she wanted to walk by his side, together the two of them.

She longed for it, she desires it.

And all of the sudden, she felt like a lightning bolt hit her spine and she transformed into a titan.

Not just any titan, but the beginning of everything, the Founding Titan.

Ymir.

-3rd PoV-

In the middle of the forest, two giant behemoths were walking around, both titans were staring at each other.

The titan that looked like a devil was surprised to see a female titan like him, they hardly look the same, maybe except for the fact that they had skull-like faces and gigantic bodies.

Hito, the person who controls the devil like a titan, thought in surprise. 'Is that Ymir..? She's truly the same as me, she could transform!'

While he was practicing reinforcement magecraft in his titan form, he suddenly lost his concentration because of the unexpected noise he heard near, making both of his limbs explode this time, 

Then Ymir's titan started moving, but due to her lack of experience in controlling her titan limbs, she tripped on the ground and she lost her balance.

Hito wanted to laugh, but he couldn't because he's aware of how hard it is to control their titan form, it's like relearning how to walk all over again.

It was a pain really, but they simply had no choice.

Since Ymir couldn't walk properly, she suddenly had a brilliant idea, she started crawling toward him.

Granted crawling was easier than walking, but in Hito's point of view, Ymir crawling toward him was a scary picture.

He was almost tempted to run, but he resisted the urge to, she wasn't going to do anything to him that he knew.

However, it doesn't make it any less creepy at all!

In the end, he managed to stay still at the same spot, now that both of them were close to each other.

Both titans were looking at each other, eye to eye, although Ymir's titan form doesn't have any eyeballs.

Her eyes were literally empty.

Now, Hito wasn't sure what to do. Both of them were just staring at each other.

Suddenly Ymir in her titan form tried to say something.

"##############!"

However, he couldn't understand it, as it sounded like a thousand boars screaming at the same time.

It wasn't a pleasant sound, that's for sure.
