Today was supposed to be the same, a day in her lonely, boring life in the town she was born and raised in, but fate had another plan for her as she woke up from a room that definitely wasn't hers!

Her eyes wandered around and saw a lot of things that she was unfamiliar with, not to mention expensive.

Then beneath her was a king-sized bed, with soft cotton inside it, she never felt so comfortable with a bed in her entire life, as much as she wanted to enjoy the softness of this clearly expensive bed.

There's more important things she should worry about!

First, this isn't her room, definitely, a country bumpkin like her wouldn't be able to afford such a high-class room, such as this.

"What is happeni-" She paused as she realized that her voice was several times higher than it usually is, she couldn't help but unconsciously touch her throat and felt something that shouldn't be there in the first place.

Adam's apple, a girl doesn't have those and a boy does, but she wasn't a boy..!

Unless…

Mitsuha then started to touch her chest and felt nothing but a hard rock skin, with that, she immediately panicked and quickly stood up from the king-sized bed, and started looking for a mirror.

And as soon as she found one, she quickly looked at herself only to find out that it wasn't her in the mirror but 'him', a person she definitely doesn't recognize.

"W-who…?" She unconsciously started creasing the mirror and all of the sudden she heard someone knock on the door making her flinch.

"Sir, it's time for breakfast and also madam called for your presence." A female voice outside the room said.

Mitsuha doesn't know what's happening, but she does know what to do, it's a pretty simple strategy, go along with the flow.

"I'll be there!" Then she opened the door revealing a maid. Honestly, she was astonished that she never saw a real-life maid, most of the maids she saw were from a TV show but never in real life.

The maid bowed a little and then said calmly and professionally. "Then please follow me, I'll guide you to the dining room, sir."

She nodded and was also a bit uncomfortable being called 'sir', after all, she's a girl, not a boy. However, right now it isn't the case.

As she followed the maid, her eyes were wandering across the hall, to say that she was astonished is an understatement, she never thought one day she'd be able to experience being inside a huge mansion.

Not long after, they arrived at the dining room, where she saw several people, including the maids and the butlers, waiting for their orders.

As for the people that are sitting at the table, she doesn't recognize any of them, then the maid professionally guided her to the table and she sat right at it.

And god, it was as soft as the bed from the room, and couldn't help but think. 'Does all rich people get to live like this?'

Then the woman in front of her was greeted with a radiant smile. "Hito-chan! You're finally here, so how's your sleep tonight my dear son? Is it good?"

Oh, she must've been this boy's mother. Mitsuha realized, looking at the woman in front of her, she did resemble the boy from the mirror.

"Y-yeah, I slept well last night mother." She replied rather nervously.

The woman's eyes suddenly narrowed as she looked at her in the eyes, making her really nervous, her heart was beating so fast that she could literally hear it from her ears.

Then she immediately assumed that she found out that she wasn't her son.

"I-" Whatever she was going to say, suddenly stuck in her throat as she saw the woman pout at her and shouted.

"Why are you suddenly formal with your mom?! You don't love me anymore?! My son doesn't love me anymore!" The woman dramatically hugged her husband.

"Of course not dear! Hito loves you! Isn't that right?" He made eye contact with her and started winking at her, if she was any dumber she wouldn't have understood what he's trying to imply but she isn't, that's why she immediately understood.

"T-that's right m-mom! I love you so stop doing that!" It's been a long time since she spoke the word 'mom', it left a bitter taste in her mouth reminding her that she doesn't have her own anymore.

Whoever this person she was possessing is lucky to have a complete family.

"O-oh, my son still loves me, that's great news!" The woman smiles at her happily and she smiles back a bit awkwardly.

Mitsuha thought. 'What a weird family…'

But despite that, she couldn't help but feel a bit jealous, if only her mother was still alive her father wouldn't….no it's not the time to think about him.

Forget about that bastard, he literally abandoned them and started running for politics.

Suddenly another person arrived at the dining room and this one made her feel inadequate with her real body appearance.

Mitsuha is self-aware that she's a bit better looking than most people, however, she doesn't really boast about her appearance, but it doesn't mean that she isn't proud of it.

But this girl she just saw, broke her beauty scaler into pieces, she looks otherworldly, her short blonde hair that looks like they shine, her face was personally made by god himself and her eyes were like the stars, they look bright.

'Who is she..? How is she so…beautiful?' Mitsuha thought in shock, thankfully though she managed to control her muscles from looking shocked.

Then the otherworldly beauty stared at her, and then she waved at her and gave her a shy smile.

And at that moment she realized that this out-of-this-world beauty is interested in the boy she was possessing.

As a girl herself, she's aware of how a female mind works, so she's definitely sure that this otherworldly beauty in front of her had a crush on this boy she was currently possessing.

How?! How did this plain-looking boy manage to get that beautiful lady's affection?!

Mitsuha couldn't believe her eyes, something like this should only exist in a fantasy world, a fiction not reality.

But right here, right now it was happening.

All of a sudden she got interested in her host, and she wondered what kind of life he was living in to make a girl like that fall for him.

Personally, she was rooting for them, if they ever got together.

Maybe…just maybe she could help.

Then a group of people arrives and they all sit down in their respective chairs, one of them has red eyes, and she doesn't know what to think about that.

Natural red color eyes? Those are a thing?

The more she stays in this place the more she learns something. At first she was wary of this predicament that she found herself in, but now she's really interested in what things she would see and discover next!

When breakfast arrived, Mitsuha couldn't count how many there were at the table, all she knew was that there were a lot of dishes on the table.

She doesn't even recognize most of them, they look fancy and expensive, not to mention exotic, once again age thought. 'Is this the daily life of a rich person? If so, sign me up!'

If it wasn't for the fact that there's people watching, she would have immediately eaten without reserve, but thankfully she managed to control herself.

She started eating a bit slowly, and as the exotic-looking dish entered her mouth, she couldn't help but moan a little at how delicious it was.

Although there's only a little amount of it, the taste made it worth it!

Quickly as she possibly could, she tried another dish and she liked it. For a country bumpkin like her, eating something like this only happens in her dreams.

Then after they ate most of the salty-based dish, it was time for dessert and this was something Mitsuha fully enjoyed from the bottom of her heart.

'If this is a dream I don't want it to end!' She thought, blessed.

While she was enjoying her dessert, little did she know that everyone was looking at her with a varying amount of amusement at her reaction.

As they never thought someone could enjoy desserts this much.

Hitomi, Jeanne, and Hito's father were looking at Mitsuha in Hito's body with an odd expression, after all, they never saw their brother/son act like that while eating dessert!

He looks like he's making love with the desserts! Not to mention how feminine he acted!

All of them didn't suspect Mitsuha of hijacking their son's body, but that's ridiculous after all they're a family that doesn't believe in magic with the exception of Hito himself and Lumine.

When they saw this, they immediately thought that they had discovered a hidden side of their brother/son that they didn't know before, however now they know.

Lumine, however, was looking at Mitsuha with narrowed eyes, she was suspicious of her, but didn't have enough proof to prove that it was not Hito.

Ohhh, Lumine is becoming suspicious and it's not even a day yet!

Is this the power of love or something different?

Who am I kidding? It's the power of common sense LMAO!

Even to this day, I have no idea how Mitsuha and Taki were discovered, since they literally had different personalities not to mention how they act!

Mitsuha is too girly for a boy!

Taki is too manly for a girl!

Exactly the opposite!
