Chapter 1It's my Birthday

Everything changed after that day.It was my fifteenth birthday and I was on my way returning from evening tution classes on my Hercules Roadeo bicycle.I was pedalling rapidly as it was late by almost an hour,the usual evening class. Mr .Mishra, the mathematics tutor extended his class that day in order to cover up the remaing portion of the syllabus. I released and raised the left palm from the handlebar and glanced at my luminous watch. It showed 8.20 and I was approximately 25 minutes away from reaching home.Amidst all random thoughts, I had completely forgotten it was my birthday today and obliterated my birthday plans I made this morning. I then decided to spend few moments more and purchase a chocolate cake from a nearby bakery store.This small token on my special day would be enough for me to cherish with my loved ones.
