chapter 1

"Geno? come on lazy boy it's time to wake up! you'll be late to meet the other heros" Geno opens an eye and sees the priestess in training, and his best friend Luna Solarus, granddaughter to one of the high elders of the temple. "mnmm... five more minutes..." Geno grumbles as he turns over in his hammock, hanging a good way up the tree outside of his bedroom window and Luna pushes at the hammock almost making him fall out which startles him and he grabs hold of window frame.

"AH!! OK OK IM UP!!!" Geno said startled not wanting to fall out and faceplant into the pottery below and Luna folds her arms. " get up or I'll make sure you fall, your gonna be late." her expression softens to a worried look. "this is the meeting of the other potential heros, even your brother tatsu is getting angry that your not there yet, and he has the most patience for you other then me."

Geno sighs and slowly climbs into the window when Luna moves out of the way and dusts himself off. " I don't see what the big deal is, I'm just meeting new people, nothing new." he notices Luna shaking her head, clearly something new has been added.

"It's not just that Geno." she looks him in the eye with a serious expression on her face. "they're going to figure out what piece of the hero of old is in each of you." he sighs and shakes his head and pats her on the shoulder as he walks past her. "all right, all right I'm going. Gezz you don't gotta get all serious..." he looks at her, then they both start laughing as the exit the room and head to the meeting place inside the temple.
