The Hundred Demons' March part 4

[Sports Festival Stadium, Musutafu, Japan]

Flames crackle in my hands before a wave of fire heads towards Gang Orca, who I believe is the immediate threat with these paralyzing waves.

As he uses the waves to defend himself, I create a wall of ice with my left hand to stop Endeavor's fire arrows, and with my right hand, I make a wall of stone to stop Snipe's bullets.

My body shines blue as I activate my Ebonyflesh spell to take the kick from Mirko, who throws another one right after with a wild smile. 'I'm going to love breaking every bone in his body and erasing that smile.'

I increase my strength before throwing a punch that collides with her leg, generating a small shockwave that pushes her back slightly and leaves my hands free to use my telekinesis and crush her body.

"AHHHHHH." These screams of pain alert the other heroes, as Snipe shoots at me, Endeavor and Gang Orca charge at me.

With a movement of my hand, I violently propel Mirko's body against a wall and then surround my fist with fire before hitting him on the ground, creating a fiery shockwave.

This one has two effects, the first one is to increase the temperature of their bodies, while the second one is to sound them in order to leave me free to increase my speed and to charge towards Snipe.

Being away from the shockwave, Snipe has no trouble seeing me coming and is already readying his gun to fire, but before he can use his quirk, I use my illusion magic to create several versions of myself that attack him from all sides.

"You're mine, bitch."

Before he can figure out what's going on, my flame-covered fist pierces his torso.

'One down, three to go.' I don't dwell on the corpse and return my attention to the two heroes who have just watched helplessly as their colleagues die, while a smile spreads across my face.

They are quickly joined by Mirko who continues to smile wildly while looking at me, even if I can easily detect anger. 'Despite all this action, only three minutes have passed.

Even though there is still a lot of magic left, I have to finish it quickly while using as little magic as possible, otherwise, the escape part of my plan might be complicated.'

As I use my magic, a purple glow appears on my two hands, and with a movement of my two hands, two lizards the size of a bus and made entirely of flames appear.

With a simple thought, I order the two lizards to attack Endeavor and Gang Orca, while I use my telekinesis to draw Mirko towards me.

Mirko quickly comes to her senses and uses the momentum I gave her to prepare a kick filled with strength and anger. "Luna Arc."

Her kick slams into me as my still-active Ebonyflesh allows me to stop his kick with my hand.

I grab her leg firmly before throwing her to the ground with enough violence and power to hear bones crack and see the ground cracking.

With my hand still holding her leg, I place my leg on her torso, and with a slow motion, I pull her leg while keeping my leg on her torso.

Her leg slowly rips as those screams spread, muffled by the war field around us and after a few seconds, I finally pull her leg off before backing away, leaving her squirming in pain.

Suddenly, a funny thought pops into my head as I look at the leg I just ripped off. 'Time for Mortal Kombat.' I make the leg as hard as steel before moving toward Mirko.

And without warning, I strike a first blow, followed by another, then another and another, I start to give stronger and faster blows to Mirko who doesn't even have time to retaliate as her body finally ends up looking like a bloody mush.

Satisfied with my work, I throw the leg away to focus on my last opponents. "As expected from hero number two, my summoning isn't doing the trick, well, it looks like I'll have to take care of it myself."

I make my lizard disappear and replace it with two simple fire atronachs that start shooting fireballs at Gang Orca while I move towards Endeavor, who, despite his excellent performance against my lizard, is showing signs of fatigue due to his temperature that I keep raising.

Well, he's almost ready, just a little longer, and he'll be cooked to perfection.

Not wanting to let him rest, I send him several fireballs that he painfully manages to dodge while I get dangerously close to him, but when I am only a few meters away, a fire tornado forms.

"Hellfire storm, huh? Idiot." As I create a barrier to protect myself from the fire tornado, I use my alteration and destruction magic to quickly increase the temperature of the area.

This increases the power of the tornado, but also increases the burden on Endeavor's body.

The tornado disappears as Endeavor charges toward me at high speed, his arm covered in flames. "Vanishing Fist." As his flaming fist moves towards me, I in turn bathe my arm in flames, but, just as I am about to collide my fist with his.

I feel something wrap around it and stop it. 'A whip?' I watch as the whip is reduced to ashes by the contact with my arm, but unfortunately, even though Midnight's whip only held me for a moment, it was enough to give Endeavor the opportunity to cancel his Vanishing Fist before grabbing my arm.

And it was with horror that I saw a smile appear on his face, as well as flames surrounding him.

"PROMINENCE BURNNNNNNNN."

A concentrated beam of heat rises into the sky as the fighting stops and people's eyes look to the center of the stadium, hope in their eyes.

The beam of heat disappears to be replaced by smoke, lots of smoke, no, not smoke, more like....steam.

"So close to the goal, what a shame." Because of the silence that fills the stadium, every single person could hear the voice, much to their despair.

The steam finally evaporates to let us see a burned and near-death Endeavor, while in front of him stands the wizard.

His upper garments have been charred, but his body appears to have no wounds.

He holds his arms crossed in front of him while his entire body is covered in frost, from his hair to his legs.

Midnight, who was standing near the Prominence Burn can't believe what those eyes see. 'Is he invincible?' These are the only thoughts that seem coherent in her head.

Endeavor, who has no energy left, can only feel frustration and anger that his strongest attack failed to neutralize the wizard.

Unfortunately for him, before he can say or do anything, an ice spike comes out of the ground and pierces his chest, ending his days.

"As for you." Just as quickly as it did for Endeavor, an ice spike forms behind Midnight and pierces her chest, killing her instantly.

As all the heroes are expected to resume the fight, the monsters slowly begin to turn to ash as Izuna smiles at the hero present and speaks in a cheerful, yet tired voice.

"Well my dear friends, this is how the march of the hundred demons ends, I hope you liked my little presentation, on that I say to you see you soon for a new fun activity and do not forget.

Reality is an illusion, the universe is a hologram, buy gold, BYE."

A purple portal appears and surrounds Izuna before disappearing with him.

Many of the heroes breathe a sigh of relief as they see the sorcerer disappear, yet none of them are pleased.

The death toll, whether on the side of the heroes or the civilians, is very heavy.

Once again, the wizard has struck, and once again, death and destruction have fallen.

I let myself fall back onto my bed as fatigue quickly takes hold of me. I would have ended up charred if my senses had been any slower.

It's a good thing the spell finished the harvest in time, because my mana reserves are at zero, if I had stayed there, it would have ended badly for me, I was careless.

"Anyway, it's not a big deal, at least there were no problems and the plan is going according to plan, just a little bit more, and I'll be able to realize my dream."
