The Birth of a Demon Lord

Labels affect people's lives in any world. As it turns out, being a demon brings a bunch of dangers. After his reincarnation the idea of being a demon didn't really bother Azemo, instead the reality of magic and fantasy occupied his thoughts. Gaining more power or a new technique was more important than learning about the war between demons, humans and beasts. Also he was reborn with modern day villains so being a demon was the least of his worries. At first it was like he was back at school, a school filled with violence and death but he was still learning stuff. However Azemo would be forced to learn about the gravity of being a demon when he ventured from the demon stronghold. Azemo did not have any grand goals or ideas but the world has a way of forcing troubles and tribulations upon beings.

My heart sank as the sinister growling voice seeped into the very pores of my skin. We were too slow.

A section of the wall of flames suddenly died down as a massive tusk seemingly burned it down with its own fire. The red eyes dripped with anger and Denta the Gorger slowly stepped into the camp.

Azel did not panic and knelt punching her fist into the ground. As she made contact with the earth, the wall of fire exploded outwards, striking all the monsters waiting to get in.

"Ren and April finish off the monsters while me and Jesen take this thing down."

I was very impressed with Azel's cool head in the face of such a terrifying monster, but she did have the advantage that she could not understand the growls of Denta.

April who looked to be running very low on everything looked towards me for a second and when I nodded she sprung into action. We needed to finish off the monsters quickly.
