Two days passed smoothly and peacefully as they traveled down to Sin City, eventually reaching their destination after driving for approximately six hours before checking into their hotel room in the MGM Grand Casino & Resort located close to the strip. While Maya was resting comfortably in bed that afternoon, Jamal took advantage of his free time to visit his own suite where he used his laptop to review the itinerary and schedule of his upcoming meeting that was scheduled for early next morning. After sending his assistant several e-mails detailing the arrangements required for his presentation, Jamal closed his computer and sat back on his bed to take a break from work before he retired to bed himself. A few moments later, his phone buzzed with a notification, alerting him to the arrival of his assistant's response to his most recent messages regarding his travel plans before he got ready for sleep.
