Collins parked his car across the street as he stared at the mansion he was directed to. He didn't know if he should go in or turn around and go back. After waiting a few more minutes, thinking, he decided to hear the truth from her. His father's attempt to kill her this time had brought him to the decision.
Perhaps he was wrong about her and she was still the same person whom he had known when they were both young. He shut his eyes and went through the decision again before he started the engine and drove past the mansion to take the U-turn that was up ahead so he could enter the gates.
He stopped at the gates and picked up his phone to call the number he had also gotten from the man. He still couldn't guess what his relationship with Melody was because he sounded like a lover but he also didn't sound like it.
