556 Destroying the enemy

While Christopher was strangling Lance, Jasper rushed into the room and was met with a scene of utter chaos. He paused on the track, staring at two men. His heart sank as he saw Abigail lying on the floor, writhing in pain. The sight filled him with concern and worry.

He instinctively stepped toward her. However, a deep-seated fear held Jasper back from approaching her. He recalled the tension between himself and Christopher, aware of the jealousy and distrust that had existed between them. The last thing he wanted was to exacerbate their strained relationship or create further misunderstandings.

Jasper took a moment to assess the situation, and then, with a determined and decisive tone, he addressed Christopher. "Christopher, take care of Abigail," he said, expressing his willingness to handle Lance on Christopher's behalf.
