Abigail’s decision

"Let go of my hand," Anastasia hissed, twisting her hand.

Brad had a firm grip on her wrist. He didn't stop until he arrived at the parking lot. He shoved her into his car and then hopped in.

Anastasia furiously glared at him. She couldn't believe that Brad was helping Christopher with this. She felt like he had betrayed her.

"You have no objection to Christopher dating Vivian! I am surprised." She sneered. "What about your promise to find Alison's killer? Have you forgotten that?"

Brad started the car and pulled out of the parking lot. Anastasia sat in silence, trying to process everything that had happened. She didn't know what to think or feel.

After a few minutes, Brad broke the silence. "I know you are angry," he said. "And you have every right to be. But you have to trust me."
