The Billionaire's Sick Wife

A poor girl born with congenital heart disease has not had much hope for the future, but her life takes a sharp turn when a wealthy, handsome man proposes marriage to her following her heart transplant. It was the most surprising thing to happen to her in her 22 years of life. Abigail had never thought that Christopher Sherman, a young, multibillionaire businessman, would approach her and express his desire to marry her. She was ecstatic and accepted his proposal. But little did she know that the 32-year-old handsome guy had a secret reason for wanting to marry her. Abigail stepped into his world with a lot of hope in her heart. But marrying him was not the happy ending. It was just the beginning. Will she be able to keep her heart from breaking? What will happen if she discovers his true motive? ============= "Life was easy before I married you," said Abigail with pain in her eyes. “I was dying, but I was happy.” “What do you mean?” Christopher clasped her arm. “Stop talking nonsense and eat the medicine,” he hissed, placing a tablet in her palm. Under his fiery gaze, Abigail cowered. "Do you find it difficult to meet my demand for a baby? It has been two years, Christopher." He didn’t answer her question. All he did was stare at her, acting mute. “Why do I feel like you don’t care about my feelings?” Abigail asked. “Don’t you love me?” His silence was the clear answer. ============= A special thanks to Aurora, my editor, for her helpful suggestions on how to improve the synopsis. A successful event

Abigail arrived at the Essence Concierge on time and entered Jasper's cabin.

"Good morning, Abigail. Please have a seat," he said, gesturing towards the chairs in front of his desk.

Abigail sat down, and Jasper leaned forward, his eyes fixed on her. "I have an important task for you," he said. "We have a corporate event coming up next month, and I want you to take charge of it. You will be in charge of all aspects of the event, from planning to execution."

Jasper was excited about this event. If this event went well, he would gain more elite clients and would no longer need to rely on the Sherman Groups.

Abigail felt a mix of excitement and nervousness, but she tried to remain composed. "Thank you, Jasper, but I am not sure I can do this. I am nervous. What if I make mistakes and get the company in trouble?"

She was scared and didn't have that much confidence in herself.
