Chapter 30
Myrah's POV
It took almost three hours to complete everything before I was eventually shown my desk. Kyle and three other colleagues shared an office with me.
The workplace was spacious, well-kept, and lovely. On one side, there was a floor-to-ceiling window with a perfect view of the main street and much of New York City. It was enchanted.
My desk was already set up, most likely by Kyle. When I had everything set up, the HOD left to his own job. I had previously been assigned a project to complete. It was very easy, and I was looking forward to working in general.
Tea break was missed since I was too busy becoming acquainted with my desk, all the files, and making sure everything was in its proper place.
Kyle eventually accompanied me after the tea break. I had already begun working on the assignment I was assigned.
