Chapter 10

It's been three days and Reina has been depressed since. She's either locked up in her room or at the pond, feeding the ducks. "Miss...miss..miss".Nina came running towards her while calling her name.

"What happened?".She asked, looking confused.

Panting she replied, "The heir has arrived and is in the study with the Old madame and his wife". A look of distress flashed in her eyes. She can't hide from what's to come.

In the study, Old madame as a matter of fact mandated Harry to take in Reina for procreation. Harry remained cold faced throughout the interaction but Sasha's case wasn't pleasant. Her eyes widen in horror and shook her vehemently.

"You cannot do this to me. I will not allow it. How can you sit there and ask my husband to sleep with another woman. I don't agree to this".

"You should watch the way you talk. Don't overstep your boundaries".Lady Mina strictly interjected. Sasha glared fiercely at Lady Mina.

"I shouldn't overstep you say?"She chuckled. " It's obviously you people that are overstepping. I am Harry's legal wife. How dare you people give him a mistress in my presence!".She screamed in anger.

"Aren't you people afraid of my family's retaliation or you think l and my family are easy to bully".She spoke arrogantly.

Old madame slammed her hand on the table in anger."I allowed you to marry my grandson to honour my promise to your grandfather. I gave you the position and power of being the bride of the Zelkowicz clan. You have just one job and that is to give my grandson a child but even in that you're lacking. I didn't make a move against you and allowed you to hold the position of a wife. You should thank me" Old madame sneered.

"Stop throwing a tantrum and acting like a stupid and ignorant child. She's just a surrogate and will be gone once the child is born. You'll still be that child's legal and only mother".Old madame berates her.

Unwilling to give up, Sasha turned to Harry and grabbed his hands. With pleading and desperate eyes,she begged, "Harry please tell grandma that you won't agree to this. You don't like other women to be near you, right?" Harry coldly looked down at her hands grabbing his and his gaze turned darker. She immediately let go of his hands.

"I'll do as grandma orders".Harry spoke without any emotion.

Old madame and lady Mina smiled approvingly while Sasha collapsed onto the ground in despair. Harry bypass her and walked away.

In her room, Sasha went crazy with rage and jealousy. She destroyed everything in her room. How can she accept the fact that he'll touch another woman. They've been married for so long but he has never laid his hands on her, not even once.

Infertile?.

How pathetic is that. That nonsense was cooked up by Harry himself to get Old madame off his back and escape consummating their relationship. Everything is a lie. However she won't give up.

Harry belongs to her only. Any woman who dares to come between them will die.

That day, Reina's belongings were moved from the main house to Harry's lake house. A phenomenal that shocked all the servants in the mansion. This is the first time a woman is allowed to move into the lake. Not even the heir's wife has such a privilege. But this woman with a questionable status has managed to get in.

They wonder if they'll soon change Mistress. When Sasha heard such gossips, her face distorted with malice. She can't wait to tear her rival into shred.

Reina felt like she has sold her entire life away because she has no control to decide anything for herself. She was contemplating her life decisions when a knock distracted her.

A group of servants entered her room. "The heir wants to meet you and we're assigned to assist you in looking presentable". One of them explained.

Reina sighed.

She has to face this sooner or later. She nodded to agree. This family is so rich that they live like royals. They live so extravagant and lavishly. Everything that money can buy can be probably found in this place.

It was late night when a maid led Reina to the garden. She wore a gorgeous evening gown and her hair is styled meticulously in a french bun. She wore minimal make-up looking breathtakingly stunning.

She was surprised when she saw the scene in front of her. A candlelight dinner for two has been set with a romantic atmosphere. Candles and rose petals pave way to the table. Beside the table stood a tall young man wearing a high-end tailored suit with his back facing them. The servant leading the way discreetly walked away.

Reina looked at the back of the man with anticipation. Her heart skipped a beat when the figure slowly turned around to face her. Reina looked at the man in front of her with shock.

"It's You?!"

"We meet again, Reina."Harry replied with a charming smile.
