The next day...
Steffi stretched, feeling her stiff muscles. Slowly, she opened her eyes and fell silent while staring at the ceiling of her room. Suddenly, she imagined what had happened last night, making her curious about what Liam was doing now. She wondered if Liam was sad or if he was acting normal because Gea was going to marry him. Did Liam still hope for her? Was what he said last night honest, or just a defense to avoid being called a cheater?
"This is not easy... For several years, we have always kept in touch with each other, our lives are tied to one another... And now, we're apart, we don't communicate anymore," Steffi whispered and sighed deeply. She closed her eyes for a moment, but Liam continued to appear in her thoughts. "I feel like something is missing... It hurts so much."
Not wanting to dwell on Liam and her sadness, Steffi got out of bed and put on her cute pink sandals. The girl who wore blue pajamas with a Mickey Mouse picture immediately went to the bathroom to wash her face and brush her teeth, then left the room to go to the ground floor.
Steffi walked through the very empty living room, dimly lit because the main light was not turned on. She pressed the switch until the light turned on, and the room became brightly lit.
"Bill!"
Steffi was very surprised to see Bill sleeping on the sofa in a curled-up position as if he was cold.
"Why did he sleep here instead?"
"Emhh..." Bill stretched, slowly opened his eyes, and realized Steffi's presence. He smiled and slowly got up. "Hey, you're awake."
"I thought you went home last night," Steffi said, furrowing her brow as she remembered that she hadn't seen Bill again after entering her room last night.
"I was waiting for you while chatting with your sister, but you didn't come out. And finally, we kept chatting while playing chess," Bill said, glancing at the chess set on the table, then sighed and looked back at Steffi. "And finally, this morning I saw you again."
"But you should have gone home... I told you that I wanted to rest, so you didn't have to wait for me," Steffi said, feeling guilty.
"It's okay... Besides, I like sleeping here," Bill replied with a smile. "Finally, I can see your face right after waking up," he added.
Steffi immediately averted her gaze and tucked a strand of hair behind her ear.
"Um, I must look bad," she said nervously.
"No... You're beautiful without makeup. I like that," Bill said.
"Don't boast!" Steffi exclaimed, quickly walking towards the kitchen.
Bill followed Steffi and said, "I'm not boasting. I really like to see a girl's natural face. Moreover, the girl is you."
Steffi remained silent while eating cookies, looking at Bill, who looked haggard with messy hair but still looked handsome and cute. She smiled and took another cookie.
"What if we go shopping today?" Bill asked, sitting on another chair facing Steffi.
"Shopping?"
"Yeah... If you're not busy, maybe we can buy a dress that fits you... I hope you haven't forgotten our plan to attend my friend's wedding party."
Steffi remained silent while eating cookies, looking at Bill, who looked haggard with messy hair but still looked handsome and cute. She smiled and took another cookie.
"Is there something wrong with me?" Bill asked, rubbing his cheek.
"No, but you should wash your face first," Steffi replied.
"Oh..." Bill grinned, then stood up. "I'm going to take a shower too."
"But do you have spare clothes?"
"Don't worry, I always prepare bathing supplies and spare clothes specifically for myself in the car," said Bill, quickly walking while looking at Steffi. "Wait a minute. I have something for you too," he continued.
"Okay..."
Brugh...
Steffi immediately stood up, looking at Bill who stumbled into the wall. She approached him and helped him stand.
"Bill, you should be careful!"
Bill smiled shyly and immediately stood up while holding his possibly hurting buttocks.
"It's okay..."
"Next time you have to be careful," Steffi exclaimed anxiously.
"Uh, yeah...I'm fine. I'm going out first," replied Bill with an awkward smile, quickly walking out of the kitchen.
Steffi sighed, looking at Bill who was getting farther away from her sight. Suddenly, she smiled when he rubbed his butt again.
"He's really weird!" she giggled, quickly returning to her seat.
After sitting for 30 minutes enjoying cookies, Steffi met her mother, who was preparing breakfast.
"Mom, did you know that Bill slept here?" Steffi asked.
"He stays here you mean?" Grace immediately looked at Steffi seriously, while holding tortillas in plastic packaging.
"Yeah, you didn't know?"
"No, mommy didn't know. mommy slept earlier." Grace placed the tortillas on the table, then turned to the refrigerator to take out the cheese, minced meat, and bacon, each of which was available in its packaging.
Drett... Drett...
Steffi reached into her pajama pocket when she heard her phone ringing. She saw an incoming call from Bill, making her frown because she knew he was in the bathroom.
"Why is he calling me?"
Curious, Steffi answered the call. "Hello?"
"Steffi, I'm done showering but I forgot to brush my teeth. I didn't find any toothpaste in the guest bathroom," said Bill from the phone.
"Oh, wait a minute," exclaimed Steffi, quickly hanging up the phone. She got up from her seat, then approached the special closet that contained bath supplies.
"What's wrong?" asked Grace.
"Oh, Bill is taking a shower in the guest bathroom. He couldn't find any toothpaste there," replied Steffi, successfully finding the toothpaste and looking at her mother. "I'll give him this toothpaste," she continued.
Grace just nodded, and Steffi quickly left the kitchen.
Hastily, Steffi entered the guest room and it turned out that Bill had just come out of the bathroom with only a towel covering his waist. She became awkward and stopped near the door.
"Uh..." Suddenly she didn't know what to say, because this was the first time she saw a man with such a sexy appearance. Bill's slightly hairy and muscular chest, toned arms, and messy wet hair made him look so hot. Suddenly she imagined if he became her husband, then his toned body would touch hers.
"Hey..." Bill approached Steffi.
Steffi immediately snapped out of her reverie and handed him the toothpaste in a square green box.
"Thanks," said Bill with a smile.
Steffi just nodded, looking at Bill's fresh-looking lips, making her want to kiss him. Yeah, the desire really haunted her head, especially since she hadn't kissed Liam for a long time.
"Okay, I hope you also take a shower after this. I want us to have breakfast outside," said Bill, breaking Steffi's reverie again.
"Oh, of course," Steffi nodded. "It just so happens that my mom only made a simple breakfast too."
"Okay... I'll change my clothes now."
"Alright, I'll go."
Steffi hurriedly left the room, then stopped when she arrived at the front door and closed it. Her heart was racing as she fell silent, constantly imagining Bill's fitness and handsomeness.
'Oh, my God... He's so hot. Adit looks much better than Liam, and maybe he's even better in bed,' she thought, recalling Liam's body, which was no larger than Bill's.
