*Lila’s POV*
Zara had one hell of a grip.
In less than 24 hours, three bombs had gone off, I’d been forced to places I didn’t want to go just as many times, and two battles trying to prelude a war had happened and were happening at this very moment.
I wasn’t having a very good time right now, but I doubted anyone was. Zara, who even wanted this, who’d been okay with war and even planning one, didn’t look so happy it was happening either.
Fighting her was a bit pointless. I couldn’t even plant my feet on the ground let alone drag them with how she was dragging ME. My wrist felt like it was going to snap and the noise—for whatever reason, it was worse the second time.
“Well, he knows how to make an entrance that’s for sure!” she cried out.
I shrieked as suddenly claws were on me, cutting open my shoulder in a vicious move I hadn’t been prepared for. It hurt.
