Chapter 11
Whenever Czarielle made an eye contact with Freeda, she can see her grinning widely and it annoys her. She knew that Freeda is silently teasing her while their scheduled photo shoot is ongoing.
They only have one schedule for the day for an influencer that she didn't bother to know the name who has three million followers on her Youtube Channel. The woman had a lot of demands--from the flowery designs, balloons, tarpauline and she had six dress to fit in.
To be honest, Czarielle didn't like the woman because she's very stubborn to the point that she'll ask for other opinion but she'll still do what she wants. She even said she's paying the right price and she needs to get what she pay for. How rude!
She decided to eat instead of letting her annoyance eat her up. She need to release her stress since she can't work with her condition. Eating will let her patience extend a little bit to tolerate that influencer who booked the photo shoot for six hours!
Her feet brought her to a nearest fast food chain. She ordered two spicy fried chicken with rice, three extra large fries, five cheese burgers, four pineapple and mango pie and two medium size drinks to go.
Most of the people around her looked at her like a hungry prey because she had to use two food trays to get her order. She didn't care about them since she's famished. She doesn't have the energy to argue with someone when she's hungry.
Czarielle finished half of her order. She ask for a paper bag for her to take out the other food. She can gave those to Freeda to shut her mouth from teasing her later. When she's about to get out of the sliding door, a man wearing navy blue ripped jeans and black leather jacket bumped into her. He leave her without even saying sorry.
Again, her anger rise up so she followed the man who just went by the exit door on the other side of the fast food store. She cornered him by pretending to accidentally tripped him.
A pair of green eyes meet her black eyes. She was shocked to face the famous ballad singer Druin Henley!
He just glance at her for a few minutes before he grabbed her and forcefully let her sit on his tinted dark blue 2020 Ferrari 488 PISTA Spider--which is one of the most expensive cars!
"What are you doing? You shouldn't pull me like that!" she squeaked until she got away from his tight grip.
"You don't know who I am despite my popularity? Wow, that's insane!" He literally threw his fist on the wheel and a loud car honked all over the parking lot.
"Do I need to know you before you can say you're sorry for what you did?" Czarielle rolled her eyes and went out off the car. She started to walk away and went back to their studio while frowning.
Surprisingly, A lot of people can be seen outside of their building. Aside form their Photo Studio, there is also a nearby computer shop but the gamers are not usually that much! She ignored them and continue to walk inside just to be surprised because the singer she had walked out with is already inside!
"No wonder people fluctuates like bees. " She said sarcastically before she passed by Freeda who's smile grew bigger after she saw her went to her room.
Freeda quickly catch up with her. "Hey, why didn't you tell me that you saw Druin the popular singer in the fast food? You should have called me, friend! You know I'm her fan!"
"You wouldn't like her if I were you. He's so rude that he can't even say he's sorry for not checking if there is someone by the door before entering a store." Czarielle sarcastically rolled her eyes and put both arms around her chest.
"Thankfully, that rude influencer is finished. If not, she'll stay here until a celebrity is here and I can't manage to see her drooling on my Druin loves!" Freeda's eyes became dreamy and she acts like a teenager who just took a glance on her crush.
"Can you just stop drooling over him? He's not that handsome after all! I wonder why he had so many fans out there waiting for his signature and glance. How cheap!"
"Wow! So meaning, the one you like is the famous Laxton Hendrix Vanderveide aka The CEO? Well, I can't blame you since you two had slept together." Freeda started to walk back to the space set up for pictorial.
"What?! I didn't even say that! How could you, little tease! I will wait for the time that I will be the one to tease you! Just wait and see!"
Unexpectedly, the famous singer Druin Henley wants to book their studio for his upcoming music-video that will be released next month and that was the break they are waiting for!
Although Czarielle is uncomfortable with his secretive glances at her, she saw how that rude singer eyed her from head to toe. On the other hand, Freeda took care of all the things he need before and after they finished the contract signing for the Music Video shoot that Druin's management will set up. As expected, Freeda signed the contract.
They are co-owner of the PhotoShop but when someone needs to sign for a contract or needs to face difficult customers, Freeda is always her bullet. Czarielle is always the silent partner that is often misjudged as a part timer.
"Hey, Freeda! What is your employee's name?" Druin showed a small smile to catch her attention while she's signing the documents.
"Oh! She's ahm--" Freeda hesitant for a second and attempt to correct him but when she took a glance at her friend, she just nodded--meaning, no need to correct him on what he is thinking. "She's Cza and only the two of us manages this shop. Why do you ask?"
Druin leaned over her right ear before he speak. "I think she didn't want me to be here since I accidentally bumped at her and I didn't say sorry. Does she always want to hear those words?"
Freeda whispered back at him. Since Czarielle is watching them, she will tell her white lies later.
"Well, not really. She started her day in a bad way, that's why. She's always the prim and proper, at the same time sometimes a rebel."
Druin stand up and was about to went out when he turned back and show his palm in front of Freeda. "How can I contact you directly? I want to invite you for an adventure sometime." He smirked and Freeda smiled widely while she tuck some strands of her hair behind her ear.
Freeda slowly put her phone on his hand and watched him closely while he's typing his number. After she get back her phone, she dialed the number and Druin's phone rings. "That's my personal number. If you're too suffocated and you want some company, I'll be there." She winked at him before she walk her towards the stairs and waved goodbye.
When Freeda went back inside, Czarielle is mimicking her actions as she tried to flirt with his idol. She looks very annoyed and any minute, she looks like she's about to eat Freeda alive.
Suddenly, there was a knock on the wooden door--which has one wing open and one wing closed--that caught both of their attention.
When Czarielle saw Laxton leaning on the door frame, she quickly went up to him before she remembered the paper bag with foods. "I'll be out until I went back. You can close the stop if I didn't came back until four or if we don't have any more customers."
"Hmm... You sounds like the owner now, huh?" Freeda grinned and smirked at her.
"Shut up! I have a bribe for you on my room. I left some food you can munch if you're too busy to went out and buy them. Thank me later, you traitor!"
She can still hear Freeda's chuckle even if she already down the stairs with Laxton.
"Damn you, Freeda! You made me come along with him just to avoid you!"
Laxton suppress his laughter since she looked very annoyed. He need her as a distraction so he better treat her well and don't get on her nerves until his blind date finished.
