Chapter 12

She walked to the room and entered.

She closed the door.

She said to him, "Bruh, what the fuck is this?!

"Okay!

"I know I did something stupid.

"I'm sorry, okay?

"What does me flirting with guys has to do with you?"

He said, "You're with me as my assistant.

"Do you think I want to hear people talk shit about you?"

"I don't want people to get the wrong idea of you because I won't have time to clear rumors."

She doesn't respond.

He turned around and went to the bathroom.

She sat and sighed as she considered everything and went to take a shower once he finished.

She suddenly experienced nausea while taking a shower and exited after turning off the water.

She dried her hair while standing in front of the mirror.

Suddenly, she collapsed.

Dominique heard the noise and went to the door.

He called for her, but there was no response.

When he opened the door, he found her on the floor.

He quickly rushed over to her.

She wasn't moving, so he picked her up and rushed her to the hospital.

He rushed her inside as soon as he arrived.

She was treated right away by the nurses once they admitted her.

He sat outside and waited.

A little while later, Junior rushed in his direction.

"Dom!

"Are you okay?

"What happened?" he asked.

Dominique replied, "I'm fine.

"It's Alayna.

"I found her on the floor unconscious."

He said, "Oh God!

"Is she okay?"

Dominique responded, "I'm not sure.

"I'm waiting on the doctor to know."

They both sat, waiting to hear some good news.

After some time, the nurse came over to them and let them know that she was awake and that they could see her.

She was sitting on the bed when Dominique entered the room.

Junior followed.

Dominique said, "Hey, how are you feeling?"

She said, "I'm fine.

"What happened?

"Why am I here?"

He responded, "You passed out on the floor."

She said, "Thanks."

He smiled as Junior said, "You look cozy.

"We might as well let you stay here."

She responded, "I'm thinking about it, you know."

Junior laughed.

A nurse came over to her and said, "You seem normal.

"Everything concerning your health is fine, and congrats!"

Alayna was confused.

She responded, "Congrats?"

The nurse responded, "Yes!

"You're pregnant!"

Alayna gasped as Dominique addressed the nurse, "She's what?

"Pregnant?"

The nurse responded, "Yes!

"Are you the dad?"

Junior laughed as Dominique got up and exited the room.

Junior followed him and asked, "What's going on?"

Dominique said, "I don't want to talk right now."

Junior pulled him back and asked, "Dom?

"What the fuck is going on?

"Are you an Alayna a thing?"

Dominique responded, "We are not a thing."

Junior said, "Then who the fuck is she pregnant for?"

Dominique responded, "We don't have anything serious going on!

"Okay?"

Junior said, "But you fucked her and got her pregnant!?

"Right?

"Don't tell me you're not going to fix your problem."

Dominique responded, "I don't know what the fuck to do Junior.

"This wasn't supposed to happen."

Junior said, "You ever heard about condoms?"

Dominique said, "I don't have time for your stupid jokes junior."

Junior responded, "Yeah, but she's carrying your child in her.

"So yeah, congrats daddy!

"Don't even think about telling her to have an abortion."

Dominique responded, "Then what the fuck do I do huh?

"I don't want a kid now.

"I have businesses and shit to do."

As he argued, Alayna stood there, listening to him.

He spotted her and said, "Alayna, I-"

She walked past him.

Junior said, "Great, now she's about to feel like shit getting pregnant, and the father of her child doesn't want to have a child."

Dominique walked to the car.

Alayna had left on her own.

When they arrived at the hotel, she was entering.

Dominique got out and followed her.

After entering the room, they shut the door.

He said to her, "Alayna, stop.

"Look, I'm sorry about what I said.

"I'm just not sure what to do."

She said to him, "Yeah, you don't have to do anything.

"It's on me.

"I'm the one who was foolish to fuck with you, and now my life is fucked!"

He approached her, taking her in his arms.

She cried as he hugged her, and he remarked, "I'm sorry.

"I'll figure this out."

She said, "Right, an abortion?

"Is that it?"

He responded, "No!

"Look, I'll be here for you throughout the pregnancy.

"I know things didn't start well between us, but I'm willing to make a change."

She laughed and said, "You're joking, right?"

He said, "No, Alayna."

"I can't run from my problems.

"I have to face them.

"If this means I have to be a father, then I will be there for my child and the mother of my child."

She said, "I don't know what to say.

"You've never seemed this serious before."

He said to her, "I am when it comes to you."

She asked, "Do you like me, or is it because I'm pregnant?"

He sighed and said, "I don't know."

She said, "It's okay,

"That was a dumb question anyway.

"You don't have to say anything.

"I get it."

She lets go of him and walks over to the bed.

He asked, "You okay?"

She said, "I'm fine."

He responded, "Okay.

"Well, get some rest.

"We're leaving in a couple of hours."

She said, "Cool."

She laid down to rest.

He then leaves the room to speak with junior.
