Clyde's POV

After Kate and I talked on the phone that day, I couldn't help but be disappointed with what she did. Why didn't she even say anything to me? What if something bad happens to her or someone harassed her inside that bar, then I can't forgive myself if that happens. Larry tried to calm me down because he knew Kate and I didn't have a good conversation on the phone, I also decided not to go to her apartment that night.

The next day, I went to the office early because Sandra and I had something important to talk about. I noticed Kate wasn't in the office yet, maybe she'll be here later.

I went to my office and a few minutes later Sandra arrived. She immediately entered my office and sat near my table.

"Want some wine? coffee? some drinks?" I asked her.

Instead of answering me, she just looked around my office as if she was looking for someone.

"Where is your secretary? Why isn't she here?" asked Sandra.
